nice speakers - as good as entry/mid level components
Bought a new Ford Ranger, didn't want to cut up the interior so after reading good things on a few different forums, I bought these as part of an inexpensive 3 way system. I didn't expect them to sound this good.
They don't handle lower bass frequencies that well... They're getting approx 50w RMS and they're crossed over at 100-120hz. I assume much of that has to do with the placement in the factory location without any modifications to the door other than adding a ton of sound deadening to the door panels.
Otherwise, they handle upper mid-bass & highs pretty well & the Eclipse head unit's EQ is enough to tune them to my liking.
