GREAT Amp
For the power class it is in, this amp is more than great. I'm sure amps with the same juice that cost much more money are on the same plain with it. Believe me, you will not find a better amp for the money. With my amp in the middle on my gains, filters, and frequencies, it does more than the job needed. This great deal at sonic is what got me to get it, and well worth it. What more can you expect from Eclipse... a great quality brand that is made in JAPAN. Not china or vietnam or mexico in a sweatshop, JAPAN. This amp is quality and I have had it for a while and it is showing no signs of wearing down.

always cold, ALWAYS working
Ive had this for about 4 months now (+ an Eclipse ea4200 4 chan) - and it runs ice cold at full power. Seriously, while my buddies' amps are going into protection mode this one will push full power for EVER - no problems evvvver.
Its also underrated. 500 rms? Trust me I blew out my Clarion srw1251 and I wouldn't be surprised if I blow out my Fosgate P3. (my fault of course)
It even lists in the manual that it does 600 rms at higher THD.
This is about the only thing in my whole car's system that has not in any way disappointed. Its also way way WAY cheaper than it should be. Get it

Excellent amp!
I purchased this amp to power my Eclipse SW9102 titanium subwoofer. Though the subwoofer can handle twice as much power as I'm feeding it, this one 10" sub rumbles like mad with this amp! I definitely recommend this amp and recommend sonicelectronix to anyone looking for a great deal with super fast shipping even overseas. Thank you!

Maybe I got a Bad One... But it Sucked!!
OK.. a little back specs for you.. Running a single 12" Kicker Solo DVC (Dual 4ohms) @ 2 Ohms. Running a Kicker 250.2 Wired to 2 Ohms.. Basically, im barely pushing the sub.. So I was looking for an Inexpensive upgrade and Ran into this Amp. Reviews looked good Except for 1 person saying it didn’t push his sub as hard as his smaller amp did. So, I pulled the trigger and when it arrived.. Installed in immediately.
Now the Bad news.. The amp didn’t even push the sub as much as the 250.2. I cranked up the Levels and the Bass Gain.. Nothing.. Verified that the Amp was getting enough Volts (14.38), Verified the RCA signal was good, and Re-Ohmed out the Sub with a Multimeter. Basically Nothing... The amp was horrible and just busted my bubble. Im hoping that that I just got a bad amp. Everyone but 1 person worked fine. My recommendation would be to be very cautious about the Amp..

Fantastic amp
I had this in my 01 eclipse spyder and it sounded so good that someone broke into it and stole it, I'm pretty sure they like it too cause they never returned it. True story, and I've got pictures to prove. But I was extremely happy of the quality and looks it had, best of all the entire radio system matched the car name, both amps, 4 interior speakers, 2 subs, and 2 capacitors. Very good deal, I would highly recommend the fujitsu eclipse name.

Eclipse XA1200
It's a great amp for my needs. It has 60 watts x 4 channels and it is great for all my needs. Plus i also have an eclipse one channel mono bass amp for my box as well. Hope this helps all of you out there

Great value, but not the amp I expected
The amp is good but I have one problem with it. In order to get the most power out of it, and to even hear the subs whatsoever, you have to have the bass boost all the way up. If bass boost isn't on, you can't hear the subs at all, but when it is up, it really pushes the subs and sounds great. I know this amp will really last a long time. Well built.

good buy
signal source 8 volts from eclipse 7200mkii. hooked to cliff designs 10 in a slot port enclosure @ 2ohms ran it for an hour or so never really got warm. Was impressed. Seems to hold true to 500 watt rating, overall very happy with product and sonic as always!

Honestly Not Impressed Yet
My previous amp was a memphis sc4.55. That's a tiny 4 channel amp that i had 2 channels bridged @ 230w pushing my 12" sub. It sounded good so I figured if I got a more powerful amp (this amp with 500w) it would much better than before. I was wrong, With this amp I had the gain 80% up the boost on my radio at 10(max) and volume at 35 just to get it to sound similar to my memphis at 80% gain, +2 boost on the radio, and volume at 28. Again all I changed was my amp. It has gotten better over a couple days with a few more adjustments, i guess my expectations were high. I'm only rating durability average because i haven't owned it long enough

The best bang for your buck !!!
I am dead serous, you will not be disappointed. I owned a Jensen power 1050 in the past and this amp kills it, no competition. Plus the service by sonicelectronix.com is unmatched. I order the amp on Monday the following Tuesday i was paying a local shop to install the amp.
P.S. Don't hesitate if this amp fit's your application. Trust me, just do it you won't regret it.

Great value and a great amp!
I would definitely recommend this product. It is a great deal from SonicElectronix and definitely puts out a great punch. I didn't need an amp that would power my sub enough to blow the trunk off. I was looking for an amp that would put out a great punch and not require a lot of power. This amp is exactly that. I have it powering a 12 inch pioneer and it hits hard. It can wake up everyone on my street if I want it too, but I usually listen to it on a more comfortable setting about half to 3/4 its capacity. When I do want it to bump HARD it will however. I was skeptical when I bought it, but am definitely a believer now and this amp is great.

great amp
I just received this amp and let me tell you its great. I've owned many amps and this one puts out alot of power for being such a small amp. I have it connected to a alpine type r and it makes it pound. The best thing about it is that it very efficient my previous phoenix gold amp just make my lights dim and get very hot with this one its totally the opposite a must buy

Eclipse XA1200 Review
I bought this amp for $109 at Sonic's Black Friday sale around Christmas, which is by far cheaper than any comparable amp. I have it mounted in a tight space behind my rear seat, and it still runs cool. It's paired with a Pioneer Premier 10" sub (also purchased from Sonic), and the combo sounds great!

Good amp for the $$$$
I purchased this amp for 130.00, I see it has gone up a bit. I am powering one 10" Pioneer shallow mount sub (2 ohm). I have to have the bass cranked all of the way up to get some bass, but I think this is due to the shallow mount sub. I have had it for several months so far and it has had no issues. It was one of the few amps for the money that has 4 gauge power & ground inputs (the main reason I purchased it) and gold to boot! It looks very sharp, to bad it sits behind the seat. The amp is actually made by Fujitsu - at least that is what the box says. I would recommend this product for budget minded consumers.

Haven't hooked it up yet!
I haven't got the chance to hook it up and check it out but it was exactly as shown and came factory sealed also. I got ripped off by another company called D*****C***C******* so to buy something and it come like shown is a huge plus. fast shipping and it looks awesome. it will push my 10CVX12 just fine im sure. For it to be a small amp it is quite heavy so I am sure its made good.

Ok..
I have one of these pushing 2 kicker CVR 12's, and its just simply not enough power. I didnt have a big budget so i shouldn't expect that much from a 129$ amp. Eventually ill probably get a kicker ZX750.1, but for now this will suffice. Even though it doesn't put out the power i really need, it does look really slick and cool with the blue led light and shiny casing. It also seems to stay very cool which is great.

Good little amp
I had this amp for a few months, but I ended up selling it, because it doesn't do rated power. My 10 year old MTX amp at 8Ohms moved my 12" Type-R better than this amp at 2ohms. I replaced the Eclipse with an Audiopipe AP-15001D, and haven't looked back. I would guess that it only does about 300-350 Watts max though. Even with the gain all the way up and the bass boost turned all the way up at my box's tuning frequency, it wasn't really hitting very well. I would recommend this amp to someone who wants decent sound quality but not anything terribly loud. It's not a bad amp, It's just not my kind of amp,

Insanely good value
This amp is powering a 12" Kicker CVX124 at 2 ohms and makes that sub pound hard!! I couldn't believe how nice, tight and flexible the sound was. Hits the lows like a champ and hits you in the chest when a killer metal tune is being played. I've always had great luck with Eclipse products and for this price you won't find a better amp.

Great Value!
I have this amp connected to my P3d124 it powers this sub no problem. I will note that the P3 is proven to handle more power than this amp can deliver. The bottom line is excellent quality amp for 130$, you wont find better at this price. Seems to run cool too. Also not sure about the review stating this amp barely made a p3 move. Possibly a faulty amp or wired incorrectly. P3d124 wired in parallel 2-ohms the 500 watt rms this amp is rated at seems quite accurate. I previously had this sub on a Rockford p6001BD and it sounds extremely similar. I run about 50% gain no bass boost and my sub slams. Great Product. Get it while it lasts.

Excellent amp for the price
you arent going to find an amplifier in this price range with the rms and efficiency that this amp has. Also very compact and small for an easy install. eclipse is a very respected company and there products are top notch. This amp is a steal for what your getting. Do not buy a boos or power acoustik even if they are supposedly 1000watts rms they are probably really closer to half that and horrible efficiency. Only buy amplifiers that are CEA 2006 certified because the ones that arent are going to be way off on there true power. The CEA rating helps to keep company's from lying about there power ratings like so many cheap brands do and that is why lanzar and boss etc...are not CEA certified.

There was something wrong with it straight outta the box
I dont know about this amp, I would probably advise to go with a reputable brand like kicker or rockford. I got one of these and it would not push a single RF P3 properly, it barely moved and i could barely hear it over my front speakers. The amp was installed professionally and checked at two different stores (yes at my expense) and they just couldnt find out what was wrong with. It wasnt going into protect, and it WAS putting out power, it seemed like it was just weak. After much hassle i decided to replace it with a kicker 400.1 without changing anything else whatsoever and man what a difference!! The eclipse got owned by an amp rated at 400 watts without the gains nor boost cranked. The eclipse barely moved with everything at max. Im now unconvinced by this new "ice" technology. Good thing i bought it at sonic as they will take the return and apply the credit towards a different amp :D
