Seamless integration
This is a great product. We have used this product now for quite a while and really enjoy its features and ease of installation and use. The ability to use my i-Pod through the AVN6620 Nav unit is a real plus and the sound is incredible.

Great product
I decided to integrate my iPod touch with my eclipse radio. Works pretty well except slowness on scrolling through windows. I wish you could use your ipod to scroll through songs/groups/genre sometimes vs using the touch screen. I would recommend this product.

Not compatable
I bought this for my AVN-7000 because it said it was compatible. IT'S NOT. I mean, it works but trying to figure out how to change artists is a total pain. I have to go back and forth between settings for about 5 minutes before I can actually switch artists. Then I can only go one artist at a time and if you have LOTS of music on your iPod like I do it takes forever to get lower in the alphabet.

Highly recommend this product!
I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to enjoy full iPod controls and sound at the same time. I did not expect to get such a great outcome from the iPC-106 when i bought it because i have not had any good experiences with iPod controls through aftermarket stereos, but this piece seriously changed my perception. Eclipse has done an amazing job at creating the iPod adapter. Pros: Good controls, great response time, nice layout for playlists, songs, albums artists and genres. Plus it charges the iPod, WHICH IS A HUGE PLUS!
Cons: NO viewing on the screen if you have videos (not a huge deal because i found an alternative way to fix this) You cant "pause" a song easy enough for quick response when driving. The display of the full playlist cant be shown if the name is too long. Once again, these are NOT big enough cons to avoid buying this product!

Cool Feature
Charges the i pod/ first gen i phone. Shows the titles and artist names through your display. The Connection cord is high quality and seems pretty durable. No gripes.

Eclipse IPC-106 IPOD Adapter
Pros: Does everything is should do, not as expensive as some other solutions
Cons: may experence problems older classic headunits
The Bottom Line: If you have a Eclipse headunit that has full iPod controls, and an iPod, you should definitely get this.
Review: Using the full iPod controls on my CD5000 receiver, this works very well. Does everything it is said to do.

Good piece of equipment
I purchased this unit for my Eclipse AVN 5435 which is an older Double Din. The IPC-106 is useless on this unit because you cannot view songs, or search for songs, artists, etc... All it does is play random.
Get the AVN 6620 or higher. It is useless with the AVN 5435
Very good unit though. Sound quality it produces is awesome. The install is a little tricky if you are new to installing car audio. I installed mine in my passenger side kick panel in my Tacoma, ran the power wire to the ECU and just did a ground to the frame behind the dash, Then ran my other wires to the head unit and glove box. USE the Sirius mode.

Good Product
Had this now for about six months. Very easy to install and use on the avn6620. Use it everyday as i never listen to fm anymore. It can be a little slow when searching for tracks or artist (not too bad though). One thing i dont like is you can't play random music from a certain artist. You pick your artist then album, it will only play that album, would be way better if you can just pick artist and play random songs of all his albums.

Not bad
I had a stereo place install it for me so I can't comment on installation. I will say that it works pretty well with my iPhone 3G. I had to get a special adapter that would allow it to charge but otherwise it works as expected.
You just plug in your iPod and the controls are right on the screen. You can only choose between playlists, songs, artists, and albums (not sure about podcasts as I didn't have any last time I used it). Movies can not be watched and you can't use any other apps outside of the ipod one as it displays a message on your phone preventing it's use otherwise, so no go displaying youtube videos and the like. For that you'll have to use another method.
The only other thing I didn't care for when using it with my Eclipse AVN 6600 is that you'll have to change songs once your playlist starts unless you want to hear the same first song every time. There is a random option but it still starts on the first one in your playlist
Cord was long enough for it to be run from behind my stereo (where they put it) through my glove box, and to my dash mounted phone dock near the steering column. And that's in a ford f-150 2004 so plenty of length.

Ipod Interface
I hate this product. In order to do anything with the ipod you must engage the parking brake. Even if you put it in park you still have to engage the parking brake - it's terrible. Also, when searching for an artist you must have a name created for each album in order to access the songs - it's stupid. Too time consuming to find a song

good for music
I have had this product for over 4 months now and i enjoy the features that work with my eclipse stereo. The one feature that i would have liked is to be able to play video through this adaptor. that is the only dissappointment.
