I will probably buy more....

We installed this on my mother in law's 1996 Crown Victoria, because she has limited right side peripheral vision. She recently changed lanes into the right lane where there was another car and caused a wreck. I was lamenting that we could not afford to buy her a car that has blind spot detection, and on a whim, did an internet search for add-on systems. She has been using this device for about a month, and it is working great! It may have an occasional false alarm for a bush or a telephone pole, but it always sees when there is another car, or more importantly, a cyclist on her right side. I would MUCH rather the system detect "too much" than not enough. As we told her, there will be some false alarms, but the system is a constant reminder to look very closely before changing lanes.
I gave the system 5 stars for durability, but I really cannot speak to that yet. We have only been using it for a month. I would say if it lasts a year, that will be satisfactory.

Love!

I bought this unit in black and I love the results. It literally does everything I want from a blind spot detection system.

It has different beep patterns to inform me how close I am to an object.

I highly recommend.

Excellent item

Great product, easy to install, and works excellent even when placing only two sensors on the rear of my suv.

NEEDS MORE LEVELS OF ADJUSTMENTS

This is a fine device is an easy install. However, It needs More levels of sensitivity adjustments.... The device is WAY too sensitive. It will pick up ANYTHING two lanes over and go off, i.e., walls, cars, vegetation, ANYTHING Solid.

After awhile of driving, it becomes a nuisance, as you do not know if it is a vehicle or a wall that is setting off the blindspot alarm, so you start to ignore it, or just shut the audio alarm off.
