Excellent, capable bypass, but could be better
This unit has a lot of capability and worked flawlessly in the Chrysler Town and Country I installed it in. The main problem I had with the unit was that the wires were very flimsy, requiring me to replace a couple of them with ones that weren't being used. The insulation near the connector broke and the wires looked like they would break off at the first sign of any stress. No car wiring that I know of uses 24 gauge wire, so splicing was a pain and durability just wasn't there. The unit is very compact and can be hidden just about anywhere. It was also very easy to program. Overall very good, but I'm knocking off some points for the added hassle that came from flimsy wires.

would recommend buying
Made installation a breeze. Connected my alarm directly to can bus system. Less wires to connect, for complete. Control. And anti theft key bypassing was a major plus. Installed in my 2003 honda accord.

Great Product
this unit made installation SO easy! it was fast the install manual is very easy to figure out and understand! I will be using this product on every car I can. Its a little pricey, but it is totally worth it on the vehicles that are a pain in the ass to override tons of factory bypasses. The only thing to look out for is the DATA plug. I had to do some searching but found out that you can shave off the two little tabs on top of the connector, for the side that plugs into alarms/remote starts. a lot of units are putting different female plugs on their units, that at first do NOT fit. (even when they are supposed to be compatible with Fortin) All you have to do is shave off those two little plastic lines on top and then the plug will work with the alarm. It will be snug but will fit.

Great Value
This item came as a bundle with my car alarm. Unfortunately for my vehicle this was not needed. I immediately called SonicElectronix CS to see what could be done. I sent the item back and received a full refund, no hassle no stress. I recommend these guys to lots of people.

Premium remote start and alarm system
This product is awesome! I have been a big fan of Autopage and Viper products for some time now. Got a new vehicle, and decided to give this system a shot, and boy am I glad I did. There is so many features on this unit that you get. Installation and programming is much easier than a DEI products and less of a pain. Also got a great price on this unit thanks to one of the reps over the phone. Also, if you have any questions on the product you can contact the manufacturer and they are more than willing to answer your questions. unfortunately I cant say the same for Auto Page and Viper. Autopages customer service is non existent. DEI (Viper, Clifford, Python) They deny you any service if you are not an authorized installer or dealer, no matter if you purchased from an authorized source.
Over all, the hand held transmitter feels durable and solid, and feels premium in your hands

Installed in Ford Edge
Still haven't been able to make it work with evo all. It may require a dealer trip to turn on customer spare or erase stored keys.

Fortin EVO-ALL Universal Digital Remote Start & Bypass Module
Evo All was a little more difficult to install, but it's probably because it was my first time doing this. The only complaint is that this should be sold with the T-harness and programmer. The unit came not flashed to my vehicle, so I had to order the programmer to flash the Evo All. Once installed it worked flawlessly. Order T-harness and programmer if buying Evo remote start.

Must have remote start solution
When being used with the corresponding t harness for your vehicle, it is a simple plug and play setup. The instructions are kind of difficult to understand at first but once you got it, it goes super smooth. Cannot beat the bang for the buck with this device. Definitely recommend.

Solid solid solid
It is a Fortin product. What more needs to be said. Fortin and iDatalink are great for bypass interfaces.

Great for the cost
This is a very nice alarm system for the money. You will need wiring diagrams for your particular installation and some patience if you've never installed one of these systems. (Wiring diagrams are your friend)

Excellent Value
I've been installing remote starts from Encore for a few years now and have nothing but good things to say about them. These modules interface well with Idatalink (or Omegalink) bypass modules communicating via data (D2D) saving a ton of wiring. The E9 module has nearly identical performance to Viper's 5706V. I like that the E9 uses coin cell batteries vs rechargeable because after a year or two the battery performance in Viper remotes has been greatly reduced. The E9 performs reliably with good range, my only complaint is that the main fob is a bit thick.

Does what it says
The alarm is great. Encore technical support is no existent. Because of that I wouldn’t recommend.

Great product, better customer service
A little intimidating to install looking at it but it's a very easy install depending on your vehicle. Read the installation and setup instructions before you start.

Remote Start Car Alarm
I got one of these for my gf as a xmas present. I messed up by opening the box. Come to find out it's a pretty damn nice looking alarm. I ended up having best buy throw it onto my truck. I love it. It has all the same features my snake brand (I forget which of the two it is) has but a hella nicer remote.

This was my second E9
I first bought the Encore E9 about 5 years ago and used it in my Armada. When I sold that truck, I uninstalled it and put it in the new van. That one worked pretty flawlessly up until the last few months. At that point, the antenna used to have to be reset occasionally to restore 2way when there was a wide temperature swing. Overall, well worth the $120ish it cost me. Now that I'm back to a new Armada, I went back and got a new E9. Just as I expected, it is still a quality piece with solid feeling remotes and a good interface with the idatalink module. The only thing I dislike is that some of the features that are on by default are annoying and need to be programmed off and that can be a little cumbersome with a push to start vehicle.
