just what i wanted

the alarm comes with the blade and it was so easy to install. no tach, no hood pin, no trunk pin wires were necessary. the blade took care of that on my car. love it very easy to program.. i can go on and on. simply love everything about it..

Hands down best bypass solution.

The blade unit connects directly to the RS/Alarm module. There are no D2D or W2W worries when interfacing with a control module. Simply slide the blade into the compatible RS/Alarm, flash the firmware on omegaweblink.com with an OL-Loader, and use the included wire harness to interface with the vehicle for TB/DL solutions. You pay a little extra, but it makes for a much cleaner install.

the feature where you can take out your key and it stays running is cool. very simple to install. the blade took care of alot of the wires so only needed about half the wires hooked up. definitely recommend this.

worked ok on buick application

Ordered with instructions to flash as per my vehicle. Arrived quick with a r/o confirming programming from sonic. Installed with compustar 7200. Programmed first shot. (Minus a tach signal programming issue with rs itself which we corrected quickly), unit worked great. 1 wire Obd data hookup saved us a lot of time.... NOTE-not all alarms/rs have blade ports make sure this will fit the unit you purchase

The OL-BLADE-AL-64 works awesome. I ordered it and provides all my auto's info and after wiring and connecting it I was able to remote start only if the key was in the ignition. Also the light would only blink red. Called Sonic and they sent another one out that was programmed and everything works as it should.

Great product so for. Only thing is that I wish the screen were a little brighter.

Didn't work

There is no record or indication that this product comes pre-flashed with the car information you provide at checkout. But I'm just assuming it was. However it does not work. When you initiate the remote start on your remote the interior lights turn on like the key is in accessory and the siren blares for half a second and everything shuts off. That's all I can ever get it to do.

I would recommend the Excalibur to everyone. I had it iinstalled in my suburban and its super. Works fine. Easy to use. And at an affordable price.

excalibur 1950

I am impressed with this product! The range is good as long as you are outside or not in a huge concrete building. The remote battery lasts about 3 weeks with just sound and about 2 weeks with sound and vibration. I also added a window module so I can roll 2 windows up and down but it will do 4 windows in one direction. I did not install it because I did not want to screw it up but my installer said it wasn't to difficult.

This was an upgrade from the 1851. It features an LCD remote which you can customize the display. I also added motion and glass sensors that directly plug into the alarm. Very versatile but just a bit bulky.

Cool capabilities, nightmare to get programmed

The supposed capabilities of this module are great. Unfortunately I have yet to find someone who can program it since the manufacture doesnt allow average peasants (even former installers) to have access to the section of website needed to program it. Other brands do but not them. Also all the places they referred me to didnt exist anymore or never answered their phones... Wonderful
