Not CEA-2006 compliant !!!

I'm not sure what other reviewer were using in their setup but this amp advertised RMS is FAR FAR inferior in reality. My JBL BP150.1 Mono Channel amp bass output is a little better than this one yet the RMS is like 3 time less. If you need to know what you're buying, get CEA-2006 compliant stuff!!

well no good for me, lasted 1 minute... now what??

First off, I'm a 20 year master technician. I know audio. This amp looks sicks, top notch in quality looks, but it lasted minute and blew, the radio was only at 3. I didn't even turn it up yet. Also damaged my brand new radio from back feeding into the amp turn on wire to the radio. When i disconnected the wire off the amp it sparked like a welder. Really blows cause now after a full day of installing new equip now i'm stuck.

Not a very good amp

I had this amp for 4 months and it already burnt out. I had the gain less then 3/4 and it still blew. Not a good quality amp. The only good thing this amp is good for is to light up my trunk.

FLI amp

This amp seems to be doing its job. When I was installing it, I hadn't actually measured all my cables. Murphy's law: they were too short to make it to my trunk, but I got lucky because this amp is tiny and fit right under my passenger seat. The remote amp control seems to do nothing for my system, no biggie my deck has subwoofer controls. I just would not worry about installing it if I were going to do it again. Also, the picture makes it look white with a purple backlight on the emblem, but it is actually silver with a blue backlight on the emblem. That is good for me because I almost didn't buy it because it looks feminine on the picture, but no worries because it is better looking in person. The fuse is rated for 40A so at 12 volts it will provide something like 480 watts, but pushing my two Cerwin Vega 10s rated at 200w RMS each, it sounds great. I occasionally touch the amp and haven't noticed that it gets hot. For the price it can't be beat.

This amp gets down!

This FLI audio amp gets down and is durable as all big money amps. The amp is small so it's easy to hide and it really make 640 watts rms @ 2 ohms. This amp is amazing.

Good price

This is a good amp for the price. Nice looking expecialy at night with those lights which are a plus. The bad is you should not turn your gain up past 3/4 because it will go out. I had to get it replaced but Sonic was very good about doing so. Overall i'm pleased.

Very pleased!

When I got the amp I was surprised at how small it was and how clean it was. I took it to my audio shop and he said he had never heard of the brand and he said he didn't think that the amp would power my 2 10" Rockford Fosgate shallow mounts. He then said that it would work. 2 Hours later I came back and he was amazed with the quality of this amp! I am amazed as well! Great buy for anyone!

my first amp

This is my first amp and it bangs man. I plan on buying 4 more. The amp also has a sexy look at night.

3 Months

Had amplifier installed professionally. The amplifier never seemed to put out the listed wattage, but I kinda figured that going in. I was only looking for a little extra bass in an F-150 SuperCab. It was feeding a Pioneer shallow mount 12". The remote bass knob barely makes any difference weather it's at the minimum or maximum setting. The amplifier died after 3 months of very light use. All lights light up as if its working, but there is no sound.

Just Installed

Just got this for a 15" CVR Kicker which is 500 rms and this amp is doing it's job so far. The size of it is great for space. My only issue is the terminals for ground and power are a bit small when trying to get the 4 gauge wire in. Had to cut some of the copper out just to get into the terminal.
