Breaking in well, sound is very quality, although not as loud as expected, very clean bass with no distortion, i have gain at 2/3 bass bosst at 1/2 and frequency at 1/3.

This is a great system for the deal. ive had many other systems in the past and by far this is the nicest looking and sounding. I love how the amp is built saves alot of space and its an amp that matches the sub-woofers so you don't have to worry about blowing them up. Ive never had a port box before and i would take it over a sealed any day because it seems louder and cleaner. IT HITS HARD AND ITS ONLY GETTING BROKEN IN.. cant wait to see them at full power!!!

very crappy wiring kit (10 gauge). so i suggest you upgrade to at-least 6 gauge. but wires are plenty long enough.

overall it gets a 5 star in my book

budget subs

Pros:
good value, decent for the money.
Cons:
no bass knob, needs better gauge amp kit, overheats, plastic white inlays around sub frame crack (doesnt affect sound- just a design to the box)

I like it except that the amp overheats easily on a hot day (about 88*F+)since it sits just under my back window trunk panel behind the rear seats. I have all the knobs turned about half way. I'm not sure why they claim that they're 4ohms, when the subs clearly have 8ohms printed on them if you look inside. they're not exactly wired in series or parallel either to produce more ohms, the amp just has 2 speaker wires running seperately, but still sounds good for the money. I suggest buying a universal bass knob that uses the rca cords to control the volume of the bass signal seperately.

Sadly, I attempted to wire a large 12V computer fan to cool the amp, but grounded it wrong and blew the amp- my own stupidity. I rewired it to a cheap amp temporarily, but I do intend on buying another one to replace it when i can find someone that wants to buy my blown one -lol.

Good quality but not close to 800 watts

The box is built strong but definitely tuned to a certain frequency because the subs don't change their tone much at all. They do not hit hard for 2 twelves let alone 1 twelve. I've had them for a week so everyone says they need to break in but not sure how much of an improvement that will make. For the sound vs the amount of size and weight that is taken up I would definitely go for a higher quality 12 and it will push out more than these 2 combined. My guess for the true RMS value is about 150 per sub. The amp also runs really hot so not sure how good that is for it. Also I have them hooked up to a Pioneer 4300DVD, so I have a decent HU with 4V preouts.

I have many friends with different set ups and this is the biggest box yet the quietest. They did pay about at the least $60 more than me so remember you get what you pay for. I learned this the hard way, never buy a subwoofer without listening to it first it's not worth the risk. My four 6x9 components hit much lower notes than the subs. The subs may be louder than my components but not by much. One positive thing I can say is that the sound quailty of the bass is not too bad even though it does sound monotone.

Overall I'm dissappointed but it could be worse. I will update this if I can in a month when the subs break in.

This box hits i got mine for cheap and its totally worth it its stiff at first whitch is good after two days of breaking in it already sounds amazing.
