Great sounding speakers but they do need an amp to make them sound good.

Can you say loud.

I got these because of the price. Never did I think they would be louder than heck. They are amped up with a 4 channel kenwood. They just scream. I don't appreciate though how I think I burnt one woofer. But they make a good replacement.

Must be amplified...

Hooked these up as a direct replacement to blown stock speakers, and I almost think the blown stock speakers sounded better. I'm thinking these need to be amplified to sound good cause they would distort and sound like butt coming straight off the HU. So I don't recommend getting them unless they're going to be amplified. Needless to say, i'm disappointed. Not amplified, the stock speakers went louder without distortion than these.

Not as tough as stated

I ran these on a jensen power 760.4 that is rated at 75w per channel. The speakers only lasted about 3 hours playtime before beginning to squeek and squak.
