Pleased with this purchase...Not sure why its discontinued
I came back to write a review of this product and discovered that it has been discontinued! Oh well, it works great and I am glad I got it while it was available.
I was worried when I first got these monitors because they plug directly into the black box, so you are limited on the distance that the monitors can be located apart from each other (and the box). I wanted to install them in my van on the second and third rows, and the cable that comes with the monitors would never reach that far. Luckily enough, I was able to find out that it a 8 pin mini din serial connector.
Overall very pleased with my purchase.
