HELLO HellO hello

Crazy how good the soundstage is for a closed back headphone. I read other reviews mentioning this and I can definitely say I agree. I love these headphones except on EDM and hiphop. I like the treble a lot with these as I can hear every detail in women's vocals (the breathing), cymbals in drumsets, and other high frequency sounds so easily at lower volumes. They highs are so sharp without being piercing or sibilant. I love music loud but with these I don't need to play them really loud to get the same enjoyment. If you like to blast music then these are not for you IMHO. Unfortunately they are not comfortable for me because my ears are pressed against the grill that covers the drivers in each cup. They should have had some that of padding over it. I've tried the Sonorous III which has a padding over the grill and it's more comfortable. I assume with these they don't as the padding will dampen the highs which make these special. My ears are medium sized and more outwards like Obama ears. Anyways, if you have small or really big ears then these are a for sure headphone if you want open back headphone sound from a closed back headphone and like analytical sound.

Two Snug Pillows over your ears that play music

These headphones are huge...it's the first thing you recognize, but it's for a reason(more on that later). The Sonorous IV are very simple headphones. The cups are fully functional in a way that is close to a 360 degree motion that seems to flow and maintain a snug fit with your head movements. The headphones are also surprisingly lightweight despite their actual size. And now, the music. As a traphead that appreciates a good thumping bass, these headphones do not deliver. However, if you enjoy anything other than trap and music with hard-hitting bass, then this is your stop. As I was saying earlier...the size. They're huge. For a reason. The huge headphone cups feel like soft pillows over your ears, that slide on smoothly and is snug and comfortable. In essence, these headphones transport you to whatever world you are hoping to go when you turn on your music.
