I'm happy

I recommend these speakers for anybody looking for excellent sounding speakers from Focal's Polyglass line but with great lower frequency response. The woofer makes a huge difference especially with rock music. They handle power very well, I have 60 watts rms going into them and they blow my eardrums out with no distortion.

Worth every penny if you're looking for good woofer response, otherwise go with the 2-ways. Focal sound quality gets an A+

Great in my GTI as well.

Installed these in my 2007 VW GTI since they're as close to a drop-in replacement as it gets (shallow midrange and the woofer isn't too deep either).

I have a PDX-F4 that's a bit too strong for them receiving a signal from my Audiocontrol LC2i, they make the stock speakers seem hollow and harsh. Great sound quality and excellent quality product.

They're a little pricey is the only complaint. You may be happier with a set that is half the price or less depending on how picky of a listener you are.

High end sound at a good price

If your looking for a great 3 way package for your vehicle than look no further. Focal has done there home work with their Polyglass line of car audio speakers. The speakers image well and produce a sound that is exceptional. The tweeters produce a sound that very smooth without being tinney or harsh (a problem with most metal tweeters). Crossover and speaker build quality are top notch.

This package worked well in my 2007 VW GTI because the 4" speaker location is shallow therefore limiting my options. Powering the package is a JL Audio 300v2 two channel amplifier. These two components work really well together to please the most demanding audiophile. I had to set the tweeter level on the crossover to 0 because at -1 setting the setup sounded somewhat muddy in the midrange. After the change was made, the front stage came alive. This setting will vary from car to car, so you need to adjust this level during install to suit your taste. I am using the stock deck with a JL Audio Clean Sweep to help reshape the signal. Sound will just get better with an aftermarket headunit and a subwoofer package.
