Incredible sound
First I would like to say that this amp is incredible...if you use it for it's intended use. This is for all intents and purposes an sq amp. With .03thd at 4ohms it's hard to beat. That, in combination with the eq controls make this a class leader if you have this kind of money to burn. However, if your goal is to bomb the blocks with Lil Wayne or Pitbull, with your sub(s) mounted in prefab boxs from b*** b** while your 83 Cadillac lets every loose piece of trim rattle freely you would be much better served buying JBL or Rockford Fosgate.
Just from an educational standpoint it should be noted that doubling of rms wattage gives a 3db volume gain, and it takes 10dbs to double the spl of a given sound system/subwoofer setup. i.e. you would need about 3400 watts to be twice as loud as 400. So unless you're buying audioque, sundown, or jbl's crown series 6000watt amps, you're pretty much wasting your time.
