Not very user freindly

Not too bad of a scanner, quality is good, difficult to use at first, and has a program glitch, seems to lock up when programming at times.

Best Bang For The Buck

This scanner is really easy to setup if you have the cord. Easy to use buttons and crystal clear display. Only bad thing I can thing of is it has no clock on it. Great product.

Good Scanner Great Price at Sconic, Difficult to program get the Win 500 Software

An Excellent Scanner Full Of Featues & A Great Price!

After doing a ton of research and asking for a lot of opinions on the Radio Reference forum, I decided to purchase the PSR-310 and have been VERY happy with it.

First, there is one large down side. I'm a Mac user, so there is no programming software available. I have programmed all of my frequencies and scanlists by hand directly on the scanner, and that has taken several hours to do properly.

Second, the stock antenna doesn't seem to be very good. Coverage is great one minute, and spotty the next. I am looking at adding the RS 20-006 antenna sometime in the near future. At less than $20, it seems like a great upgrade.

Other than that, my experience is completely positive! I love that Grecom provides a wall adapter at no extra charge, whereas some other scanner companies I looked at wanted $30 - $45 for it.

The scanner feels very well built, I like the look of it, the backlight is fantastic and the text is easy to read. For the money, I really don't see how you could find a better product!

I would highly recommend this item. Not being knowledgeable myself a friend of mine programed it for me with the things I wanted and showed me how to use it and it is one of the best scanners I have owned. Priced right also.

gre 310 scanner

Its a nice scanner, i ve owned over 10 scanners in almost 16 years and this scanner is my favorite, if do decide to upgrade i will go with the GRE 500.

Easy to use

This is my third scanner, and by far the easiest to program. Even with the supplied antenna, it gets good reception. The audio is clear, easy to listen to, and has plenty of volume. I'm using the PSREdit310 program now, but at first I put everything in manually and it was still easy to do.
