Many features of more expensive scanners. Thoroughly designed as a premium product. Alot of scanner for your money!

Solid performer, good "ears"

I live 22 miles from the major city in the tri-county area. I was delighted to pick up police, fire, emcomm traffic using the provided whip antenna, on the ground floor. First trunking receiver I've owned, not certain what's "normal" - radio occasionally wants to freeze in a trunk group with no audio. No digital capability but an excellent value. Programming is different but easily done once you get the hang of it. Manual is pretty well written too.

This model is a great improvement over its previous model. Although not a digital set it has many features of the upscale digital object-oriented sets. A lot of scanner for the your money !

Excellent scanner

This is an excellent scanner with many features of higher priced models, A bit difficult to alpha tag and enter frequencies.

Placed my order by phone (with Joey) fast, friendly, professional service. Received my PRS-410 in 4 days, not counting a weekend.
Haven't got it up and running yet, think I'll read the book first.
Had to rate all aspects of the product or it won't accept the review, therefore I defaulted to 5 strars.
I plan to give a performance review after I have some working time with it.
