Great value on sale for a great headphone

The following review is for HE-400i, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I would totally recommend this product for someone looking for a step up in their headphone setup (coming from an ATH-M50). Especially at the sale price ($299), there really isn't a whole lot that beats them.

The sound quality is amazing, it is almost like stepping up again from to the M50. While it is not extremely open, there is a mod to replace the grills on the drivers with wire mesh that I will probably do that apparently fixes a lot of this, giving it a wider soundstage. The sibilance is not noticeable at all, even at high volumes. Note that these will need an amp and will greatly benefit from a DAC (I own the Schiit Modi 2/Magni 2).

The packaging was very nice, came with a leather box that flips open to reveal the headphones within. Shipping was very fast, arrived exactly when expected.

Ef2c

The following review is for EF2C, which is a part of the bundle you are viewing.

I am impressed with the combination. Got the phone first then the amp tonite. It came without the orig transformer. 16 volt AC.
I am using a 12v 2A trans. Not sure if few volt less would make a big difference. Somehow my USB input is not working yet. When plugged in and note book says usb installation ready, i lost both the phone out put and zilch from the usb. Anyways i will try to sort usb out later on. At this moment i am enjoying the analog output. Listening to this fellow. Playing tribute to Shadows.
