shouldent be discontiued

this sub pounds. deep long holding bass. i had 2400watt amp hooked up iv entered soundoffs and placed 3r place. iv put all the power i could to this sub and it seems to just get louder with minimal distortion. what i didnt like about this woofer is i haveto invert mine beacuse the glue around the lip disconected on all 3 as12sqatlases iv owned.

amazing craftmanship

Once again hifonics has done it, this is an amazing sub for the price...rated at 900 watts rms this woofer has unbelievable power response even with its mid 80s efficiency rating, it is very efficient a bx1605d pushed two of these woofers HARD at 100 watts under rated wattage....

Great buy for the price...very efficient unlike kicker needing to be WAY overpowered to get moving...also these woofers look incredible...

Cant beat this sub

This sub rocks. For the price there is no other sub out there that will hit harder and be louder. A ported box is the way to go with this one.

this is an awesome sub. the bass is soo deep and i think in a ported box this beats an L5. dont listen to the last review. a JL W1 is 100$ for 150 watts rms because Jl overprices there products becuase they are mostly a namebrand dealership. how come you can buy an Audiobahn sub at C****** C*** for 150$ and on this site its 40$. its all because they choose to sell it at that much a JL W1 is really only worth about 30$ but becuase jl says they want to sell it for a 100$ they do and it still sells because people dont care and dont know anything and just waste there money. GO buy JL when u can get a sub just as good for half the price... JL is an awesome brand dont get me wrong but not actually worth that much.

hifonics is very overrated just like audiobahn and sony. the JL W1 is only 150RMS, how would this be 900RMS if it was any good. hifonics amps run only about 70-80% of their rating watts. im not saying only buy JL, but if its too good to be true, then do not buy IT!
