great value

I owned two of these and I have hit 142.7 db at 67 hertz. I did it with a kicker 1500.1 zx amp and a self made enclosure with 1.9ft3 per woofer, in the back of a 97 cutlass supreme. These woofers have a excellent x-max and handle the lows very well. the lights are a very nice touch but in now way help the woofer archive its overall goal of beating your trunk to death. They are rated for 600W RMS but can handle about 700. I tried to give them more but I blew one when the voice coil jumped out of the magnet and fell off center. I WILL STATE THE FAILURE WAS MY OWN FAULT AND I KNEW WHAT I WAS DOING AND IN NO WAY WAS THE WOOFER AT FAULT THEY ARE VERY WELL BUILT!!!

i had 2 of these pushed by a 1000 watt panasonic. somehow i managed to blow one, i think it was a freak occurance though. they are extremely loud for the price, they will blow rockford p3's out of the water. i dont know about 147 dbs but they are loud for 80 a piece. highly recommended
