I ordered this amplifier and the first day that i got it i took the back cover off of the amp.... this amp has excellent components on their boards....very big and healthy.... I rated this amp against all of the other amps iv'e had and this SMOKED all of the others!!!!! I am one i have installed systems for years just don't have my own buisness yet .... I Have used the Memphis 1000 watt class D Power Reference (MONO BLOCK)with one built in cooling fan AND THE 3200watt A2X400HQ Audiobahn Rack amp... with 2 cooling fans...BUT the HIFONICS AMP just blows those 2 away.... before i bought this amp i read many reviews for it and couldn't decide then finally just started in with the amps specs...the 1800RMS and the actual THD Rating RMS is only .08 This amp also has the 21 Anniversary Heat sink where the whole front outer shell is ONE BIG HEAT SINK I can tell you that this amp on power consumption does better that the 3200 watt rack mount and suprisingly better that the 1000watt memphis "class D) monoblock Too!!! this amp at high volume took less out of my car than the 1000 watt???? go figure that !!!! And on top of all of that ...this amp runs forever without getting hot....overheated.... never..... where the memphis ran hot and the audiobahn even with thier built in cooling fans...I have 2 15inch kicker comp VR's each in a 3.75cu ft slot ported box ..... i have a 160 amp high performance alternator and 2/0 ga. wire from alternator to the back....1 spare car battery ... kenwood headunit with 5 volt subwoofer preamp output... and One Damn Good Amp.... I know i have an upgraded electrical but even though this amp still beats the other competition..and before deciding to buy that OTHER amp....LOOK AT THE PRICE OF THIS ONE.... PERFECT AMP COULDN'T HAVE BETTER UNLESS IT WAS A STRONGER HIFONICS .... t TRULY SEEMS TO BE - POWER FROM THE GODS!!
