Great Amp!

This is a great amp. Pushes my L5 pretty hard! Would recommend it to anyone with a decent set up.

Hifonics

The following review is for a previous version (BXi606).

This product has performed great for me. The amp boasts a very high quality of sound, even while slamming. Since the break-in period I've further tuned it and must say this amp keeps pushing and pushing and delivers great sound even at max bass boost. Use this amp for either sound quality or the boom. It won't let you down!

when i was looking for subs i wanted a reliable amp.i was shopping around for the best amp at the right price. finally i found one. this amp never overheated yet and pumps my 2 alpine type s subs (12 inch) even when i pump those subs full of power the amp makes them sound clear and very crisp. many people like my system. i recommend this amp to any body. the cool leds on it are sweet at night time too

Great amp

I've used numbers of amps over the years, and this is one that I am using for a temporary set-up. I have it hooked up to a 10" Rockford Fosgate HX2 tuned to 35hz, and it pounds pretty hard! The sub can handle an easy 1000 watts rms, and this thing is only rated at 600, but definitely has good power pushing through it. My stock electrical is weak (kia spectra) but this amp doesn't drain it too bad, the control knob is always a nice feature as well, and the Hifonics logo lights up in blue LED - not too shabby.

Power From The Gods!!

The following review is for a previous version (BXi608).

Hifonics definitely delivers the power and the punch. I recently upgraded from a Power Acoustik amp, that I was very satisfied with but it lacked crossover control, to the BXi 608. The power that the BXi 608 produces is awesome!! I got 3 Clarion 10's and have the amp running at 1ohm and there is no distortion at all. Seriously Hifonics, 600 watts is an understatement! Packs quite a bit of punch Sonic Electronix has it for cheap, but just don't think it's a cheap amp because it is NOT.

Hifonics Bxi 606

The following review is for a previous version (BXi606).

This is a nice amp. I used it to power 2 10'' square Brutus woofers and it put out some power. I would recommend getting an optima deep cycle battery so that it performs its best. It also comes with the bass knob witch is pretty handy.

Great bang for the buck!

The following review is for a previous version (BXi606).

I used this amplifier to push four Kicker C10-4's bridged in parallel for a 1 ohm final load. I was skeptical towards the performance of this amplifier because of its low price, but it truly delivers. It pushed all four subwoofers nicely, and they sounded very good. The amplifier held the 1 ohm load just fine, and never overheated. It felt warm to the touch on a few occasions after being used after sitting in the hot Florida sun. It's still going strong to this day.

I have nothing but good to say about this amplifier.

Great amp

The following review is for a previous version (BXi608).

This amp is great. I have it powering my 12" RE Audio SEx at 1 ohm. It is louder than you would expect one 12inch woofer to be. Sonic has this amp really cheap too. A word of advice, it you do get this amp, make sure the subsonic filter and the low pass aren't at the same frequency, otherwise there will be no sound. I did that and kept sending the amp in thinking it was broken..

Hifonics BXi 606...

The following review is for a previous version (BXi606).

I have this amp pushing my two Infinity's Kappa's 10.1d's 300 watts each. I have had no problems at all, It gets warm sometimes, but that's when I've been driving on long trips. But most amps will get hot anyway, depending if you get air to it. So far this amp has performed awesome, I'm very happy with this product. It's affortable compared to some out there, and it does it's job. I'm very pleased and was easy to install, and the letters light up. So at night it's cool to show off, amp is on top of my subbox that fits under my back seat. When the seat is lifted up in the back of my 99' GMC truck. Looks good and I get comments on it all the time.
