Great Product!!!

I have $ L7 kicker 10's that are 500 watts rms a piece. I was looking for an amp to push all of them with no distortion & good sound quality, a friend of mine has this same amp on 3 jl 10's & they sound awsome!!!! I bought 2 of these amps, 1 amp on 2 subs & they really push them hard & they sound great. I have a dvd player & a monitor in my van & weather it's music or a movie on the dvd player my stereo is crystal clear. I have bought a few things from sonic electronics & they have some f the best products at some of the cheapest prices. This is a great product & I would recomend anybody to buy from sonic electronix!!

Fantastic amp!

I got this amp pushing two RE se-x 10D4 wired to 1 ohm, and this amp keeps those things slamming! its lighter than i expected, and the LED lights are gorgeous! They dim out (along with all my other lights) when the bass hits, but that is to be expected on stock battery/alt. doesnt get too hot, no other problems so far! bass knob is very nice!

Worth it

I got 2 American bass 12s and this amp shakes the f*** outta my car. Good price, the blue lights up my car at night and I am very happy with this product.

Great Amp

I purchased this amp to power my 2 Kicker CompVR 12 subs. Amp works amazing. Has plenty of power for the subs and can get really low. I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quality amp and a decent price. Have not had any problems so far.

Great amp for the price

Was very skeptical about the quality of this amp but was very surprised once I hooked it up! I have this amp pushing 4 kicker cvr 12's and have it wired at 1 ohm and it never even gets hot! Pushes my subs really hard would definitely buy another in the future, good bang for the buck.

This is and excellent amp for the price, It pushes my 3 10"s with ease and sounds great, would completely recommend it for anyone looking for street level performance.

Pros- Low cost, High efficiency, Great looks, and Solid build.

Cons- None so far it works perfectly.

nice amp

its a verry flashy amp and does close to rated power at 1 ohm on a good elektrikol systom you more then likely want to get anuther batory because it drws alot of curent but all in all its a verry nice amp for the rice

Good amp for the price

I was originally going to go with a soundqubed 1200.1 amp but saw this on sale and decided to give hifonics a try.
If there's one difference I've noticed going from an older kicker to this amp is it's surpingly clear and has a much lower tone than my last amp. It's also quite a bit louder (going from 600rms to 900rms @ 2ohms)
The box says the amp runs 800rms @2ohm but the online info says 900 so I'm not sure what to believe.

Does not come with a birth sheet unfortunetly and the warranty is only a year, you can buy an extended warranty though (29.99 for an extra year 49.99 for two extra years) I think it would be better if they just stuck behind their product and had a 3 year warranty to start.

The amp itself is surprisingly light for it's overall size and output I assume this is because of the (super D) design.

Overall good amp, if you have the extra money to spend soundqubed would probably be a better option but if you're trying to save money and are willing to go with a slightly off brand this is a good choice.

Great prower from this amp!!

First amp didn't work and Sonic made an easy exchange for a new one and that thing works great. I ordered this amp for my Skar vvx 8's. and it pushes them with no problem @ 2 ohms. Once I upgrade and do the Big 3 I'll drop it down to 1 ohm see how it runs then. But @ 2 ohm I've had it cranked on a couple road trips with no problems and it hasn't even got warm to the touch. Awesome amp for the price. I'll be getting another one for sure!

Great Amp & Value

This amp provides a nice clean sound and has enough power to really push my speakers without overloading them. For the power output and price it is hard to beat. I wish it came with some mounting options. Since I have my speaker in the back seat and the amp in the trunk, I can't mount the amp to my speaker. So it was a bit challenging trying to find a place an method to mount it in the trunk.

Absolutely perfect

Powering this indoors with two 750 watt server power supplies. It's a great amp and a great price. Looks AWESOME and is easy to use. I recommend!

great amp

Replaced a 600 watt max I had hooked to a sola baric l7. Almost too much for the sub.

Best bang for your buck

Brutus amps are great amps for the money. Have mine pounding two kicker comp r's. Are there better amps out there? Sure but you gotta pay up. Just remember to upgrade your electrical to get your system running strong ( big 3 kit, hi output alt, extra agm batteries, good quality thick wires, etc, etc) as always, sonic is awesome!!

Best amp i have owned

First off it's 1 ohm stable which alot of amps say but aren't which is big for me because I want my subs to get everything. I researched this brand thoroughly before I bought and so far I'm pleased. It doesn't get hot and does rated, matter of fact I just had to get an ANL 200 watt fuse because I snapped my 60! Cheap but thorough. Matched with two dvc 4 ohm Rockford p3 12's, best "budget build" I've had.

great amp

I went cheap (boss) for my first amp. The quality in sound is dramatically different. I have it hooked up to 2 pioneer 12's, dual voice coils. The bass hits hard ass hell and it looks good doing it. This is a great amp.

great over all budget amp!

it will do ratted power if you supply it with enuph power these amps are great the board layout and the components are decent and can be compaird to other more expensiv aplifiers. they arent verry efishent in this amps case you need your chargeing system to be able to suport 2000watts worth of amps of power to get the rated 1200 watts out of this amp. and the robe iloominashon looks amazing that was my favret featcher of this amp over all its a great amp expeshily for the price!!

I went with this amp after hearing good things about it and also I was on a budget and I'm very pleased with my purchase. The only thing is, that I would recommend doing your electrical upgrade (Big 3) as it is power hungry. I have it pushing 2 Polk Audio DB 1240's and my voltage drops pretty low at times. No problem just give it more of what it wants and you'll be fine. As I'm writing this review I see that this item has been discontinued, at least on the Sonic Electronix site. Wonder why?

Nice looking amp.

Its a nice looking amp. I havent hooked it up yet becuase Im waiting to fix up my car but once its done I will review it again. the only thing I dont like is the power and ground terminal is not true 4 gauge. I even bought a cable reducer because I have 0 gauge power and ground and step it down to 4gauge but still didnt fit.

Outstanding Amplifier

Well worth my money. Looks beautiful as it illuminates "HIFONICS" especially in the dark. It is extremely durable thus far even after a car accident. No clipping or weakening with an NVX audio 4 gauge wiring kit pushing an NVX VCW 122 12" woofer. This woofer was extremely easy to use and was well worth my investment.

Great amp

I bought this amp a few years back and it has been in several of my vehicles powering a Alpine Type R 12 and it does great it will push the sub to its Max and sounds good doing it doesn't get hot I would definitely recommend this to anybody it has been used heavily over the last few years and in one of the vehicles I accidentally switched the power and ground and turned it on and it blew the fuses so a couple of new fuses and it was back going again this amp is nearly indestructible
