Great high quality 2 channel amp

I bought this amp to power all my speakers in my car. I got Polk 6.5 components in the front and Polk 6x9 in the rear. With this amp powering each side at 2 ohms it sounds incredible. This is a great cheap amp to add in to power your speakers instead of the head unit. Hifonics makes fantastic products that are accurately rated and high fidelity. I would definitely recommend this amp.

Great budget amp

This is a great amp for the price. I have owned several different brands of amps and this one performs just as well as the other higher priced ones. I didn't give it five stars in all categories because I haven't owned it long enough to accurately gauge the durability (owned for about two months), but so far it has done very well on my 6"x9"s.

Not that bad of an amp

I use this to power a set of Rockford Fosgate Prime 6x9s. I have it set in High Pass mode and I cut the lows out and it is a perfect match for the 6x9s. It does get a little warm. I am going to buy another one to power a set of 6.5 and 3.5 Kickers utilizing the amps full potential.

Love this amp

I use this amp to power a 12 inch pinoeer subwoofer rated at 300 rms at 4 Ohms. And this thing bumps. Its lights look amazing i wish tey were red but they look great. Tuning it was very easy. Came with mounting hardware. This amp sounds great however it does not have a bass knob or and output for one but i just use the knob on my head unit to turn it up with my stock head unit. I highly recommend this for a subwoofer since i have had no overheating issues what so ever. It is mounted on the side of my box and i have had it more than a month now.

Good Amp

Its been a good amp for the 4/5 months I have had it. It runs my 1 12 inch nicely and it look cool at night. The only problem I have had with it is that it overheated and shut off a couple times. I was bumping hard for an hour straight with my windows down in 90 degree weather, but it still happened twice. I am sure its just my unit, but it could happen to others, no harm done to it though.

Good for the Price

I'm using this amp on my 2 Cadence 6x9s rated at 150RMS x2 ran at 4 ohm per channel. So, I'm only running my 6x9s at half power, but this amp at 4 ohm pushing 80RMS to each 6x9 still does great for the highs and mids! I'm running at the lowest it's able and the amp gets a little warm after jamming for an hour, so I do wonder how it would do bridged at 4 ohm. But overall this thing is worth every penny and has an awesome appearance/glow!

I really like this amp. Had it for a few months now and it powers my 2 RF loudspeakers like a pro. Plus it looks real cool when it lights up.

Good performance, GREAT price!

PROS: Direct 4awg power and ground inputs, 8awg speaker wire outputs, variable crossovers, RCA outputs, good sound quality, nice looking. This is my first Hifonics amp, so I can't speak to the longevity of it, but I've run it pretty hard - it runs cool and has not shut down.

CONS: Not many. A phase switch or variable phase adjustment would be nice. More/better labels on the gain and crossover adjustments would be nice. Would also be nice if all connections were on one side. Seriously though, at this price, who can complain?

Good sounding amplifier

This amplifier is very easy to set up and tune in any car stereo. Cleaning sound power. I use it to power my small speakers and there is enough clean power.

Pro: Hifonics gets better with their designs and features. Very effieceint and cool in operation.

Cons: The speaker wires can be angled a little better for installation.

good sounding amp

For the price I could not be more satisfied with this amp. I have it running 2 rockford punch 6x9's. I like the option to choose between full high and low pass filters. Improved my system a lot for a few dollars.

Very Nice

I bought this amp on the recommendation for my sub, an Earthquake DB10 bridged at 4 ohms. It really works well and runs cool. It seems to be well built and it looks really cool with the blue accent lighting. This was my first Hifonics amp and so far I have been very happy

Super Bomb Amp!!

I don't normally take do reviews but on the Hifonics amp I just have to.I used to have a Performance Teknique amp and when that amp burned out, I needed a replacement so I decided to take a chance on this and I am very very impressed! It hits a lot harder than my old amp and sounds incredibly clean for the volume. Plus the illumination just looks pretty cool.

I wish it came with a control knob but hey that's no biggie.

I have been into car audio for years, now in my 40's was looking to up grade the system in my titan. I bought 2 of these amps for the mids and highs and the BRX1100.1 for my 10 inch subs. I was worried being these amps where only 65.00, and more worried when I felt the weight of them compared to the MTX I took out. Let me tell you these amps ROCK. The sound is super strong and very crisp and clean, I cannot believe the sound that's in my truck now. I have had 400.00 PPI, JL Audio amps and these amps sound just as good for a third of the price. I am a big Hifonics fan now and at night the glow these amps have looks sweet. Very Very happy with these amps!!! Durability rating is only 4 stars because they are only a week old, oh and I have jammed these for hours, they don't get hot like others have said, just slightly warm.

Good

Purchased nearly a year ago. Have some cheap Infinity components and cheap nvx 6x9s wired @ 1.7 ohms per channel (components are 3ohms nominal). Hasn't given me any sort of problem yet other than the lights in it dimming/flashing very noticeably when my voltage drops, but that's my fault for having incapable electrical.

Great deal

I love this amp! I recommend it to everyone who looks at it. It's a little amp but pushes a lot it's the best 320w 2 channel it never shut off on me I bump everywhere I go and no problem what so ever I've got 2 horns 2 horn tweeters and 2 6x5 and it's amazing hifonics it's a great brand I also have a brx 1100 mono I love the brand

Excellent Choice for mids and highs

Bought this amp to replace my old one, which was a high dollar amp but put out much less power. I have to say I'm really impressed with it. The audio is just as clear and is much louder now. Highly recommend!

Good amp

Well built heavy amp, used to push 4 8" pro speakers and 4 1" super tweeter, had a good 400 watt out out to 4 ohms no problems looks amazing, just hard to use the little hex screws for wires prefer regular screws but still works amazing. Would recommend especially if on sale
