Brz works as advertised

Got the Hifonics brz 2100.1 from se and Had it hooked to an old school Hifonics Olympus xxv 2415 and man it pushed the sub very well.If you buy the 2100 make sure you upgrade your electric(big 3,extra battery)will make the amp sound much better..Amp is a beast if you feed it correctly :)

Can't go wrong with Brutus. Great price!

Phenomenal amp. Gives more than enough power to my 12" Fi Bl at around 1.4 ohms. Since it is class D, it runs very efficiently and puts minimal strain on my stock Jeep Wrangler electrical system, even with its massive power output. Aesthetically one of the best looking amps I have ever owned or seen, the blue lights look awesome at night if the amp is not hidden. Cannot comment on durability yet. As for "ease of use", I found it difficult to set the gains to match an input level of 2 volts because the control ranges from 9V to 0.2V with no markings between. Other than that, superb amp. Buy it, you wont be disappointed!

Excellent Value!!

I've had this amp for about a week and so far I absolutely love it.

For the price, I feel that this is a really good deal. I was looking for 800wrms @ 4 ohms, and this is what I found. It sucks every amp of current from my stock alternator, I need to upgrade that... but for now, it pushes 1 10" sub pretty hard (and then the lights start to dim at about 80% volume) so there's not a whole lot of sustaining power for the deep bass notes, but that's not Brutus's fault now is it?

I like the features (high and low crossovers, bass eq, bass boost @ 45hz, etc.) and I like the overall appearance of the amplifier. Somewhere I read that these amps appear to be cheaply made. If I was really anal and went over this thing with a fine toothed comb, I might say that the adjustment knobs have a lot of play to them and the plastic parts feel cheap, but everything works properly and I personally have no complaints.

I like the 0 gauge power ground inputs as well as the speaker outputs, all of which are female type terminals. Personally, I love it when I can stuff a wire in a hole and screw it down nice and tight, there are no ifs, ands, or buts about it; that wire isn't going ANYWHERE.

Overall, this is a great product.

A+ Budget Amplifier

Be real, where else can you get CEA certs for a 2100 watt amp for this kind of money? Maxxsonics has done a fine job of making an aesthetically pleasing amplifier, with all of the power one could need.

I was always proud of finding a pair of Pioneer subwoofers in the trash [and using them for many months], until I got this amplifier. It blew both subwoofers at separate times in the first actual hour of play time. Nothing impressive, but the power output is comparable to an AQ 2200D. I like this amplifier, and yes, the blue LED behind "Hifonics" is even well-constructed enough to stay looking serious about car audio.

So far, very pleased

I have 2 of these running one coil each on a new Digital Designs 3512sc.
The coil is a D1. The amps run cool and seem to be very efficient.
I did a clamp test with a 45hz tone and with a box rise of about 2.2ohms, I was getting a tad over 1450 watts per amp. (amp is rated at 1400@ 2 ohms)
I have had the amps for a few months now and have given them a few hard, extended runs with out issues.

IMO, a very nice bang for the $$$ spent.
The only thing that I do not like are the rather sharp edges on the cooling fins. Also, where Hifonics puts the tamper stickers on the backs of the amps, they are prone to tearing along the amp seam from mounting.

Great Price, Great Amp

I would easily recommend this amplifier, I have it powering an 18" Incriminator Audio Death Penalty, wired down to 1 ohm, and it doesn't even get warm, stays cool. Have had zero problems & nice easy quick hook ups no problems at all.

bada** amp

I must say for the price i highly recommend this amp to anyone who requires power. I had a fosgate 1000 watt power series amp hooked up at 1 ohm to my Pioneer 12's that required 2000 watts rms and my amp would shut down from time to time but this hifonics amp doesn't shut down at all. Highly recommend for Sonix price cuz i payed $500 for only 1000 watts for my fosgate and i only payed a lil over $300 for this 2000 watt beast. Am highly satisfied with this amp thanks alot Sonic.

GREAT AMP

I got this amp Nov 2010 as a package with 2 RE Audio SEX 12's. The amp hits HARD. I've since sold the RE SEX 12's and had 3 12" Kicker CVX in the car.
I sold the 3 Kickers and now have 2 JL Audio 10w7s which quake.
I'm running the JL Audios @ 1.5 ohms and the amp is killing it!!!

The amp doesn't suck much power as I have a 140 alternator. The JL Audio 1000/1 sucks so much more power than this amp.

BEAST

This amp is a beast. I'm powering two Alpha PSW812E's. It pounds them really hard, and does get very hot. Sucks a ton of juice at 1 ohm. Looks awesome too.

what! READ THIS PLEASE BEFORE YOU BUY

FIrst of this amp is amazing, i've had about 6 amps in my day. This one pushes more power then amps made by MTX, KICKER, ALPINE; with the same rating of power. I push 4 7500 Mtx 12" subs. My system is easily the loudest system in my town. If you want an amp that pushes more than 2500 rms at 1 ohm and will NEVER run hot, NEVER. ive had this amp for almost 2 years now,and I have played music full blast for hours at a time, my amp has never had trouble or even weaked for a second. Just to show you how much power I was pushing this amp broke my windshield.

its alright

This amp is worth the money. Nothing more, nothing less. I found the supposed 0 gauge inputs a pain because they face downward, a huge design flaw. They also are smaller then most true 0 gauge brands, so you'll have to cut more copper out just to have them fit. Also, the power input and ground input are right next to each other, so when you have wire that doesnt fit and you jave a couple strands hanging out, the spark show begins. This is a very power hungry amp (at 1 ohm), you definitly need to upgrade your cars electrical system, i had a mechman 220a alternator and the big 3 done with 1 battery and that worked fine, never dropped below 13.8 on a hot day. Overall this is a very decent amp. The inputs were really the only thing that I think was a complete fail on Hifonics part.

A Great Value; But With Few Draw-Backs

This amplifier is solid; well-built, and has many features that make set-up a breeze. Puts out rated power; may suggest a secondary battery and Big 3 wire-upgrade for this amp to have solid voltage. The Black Heat-Sink is fairly sharp though, and the sticker on the bottom for the warranty can be rubbed off due to sliding the amp, so be careful!

DC LVL5

I have 2 12" lvl 5 dc audio's. In my SPL box, 2cu/ft each sub i am hitting 153db in my minivan, DbDrag Cert score 151.8db

I am feeding these amps 14.9v w/ 8 trained batts, 2 of these strapped at 2ohm clamped at 4900wrms

They do not overheat, this is a daily driver, it hits hard. Good solid amp.

BRZ2100.1

I had a BRZ1200.1 Awesome amps also had a 2100 for a while. I ran my 1200.1 on crap voltage at .5 ohms DAILY never had an issue and i dropped down to almost 9 volts daily. it was bad, but the amp took it like a champ never screwed anything up was good to go every morning every day until i sold it. Now I have power hungry subs Team Aftermath Series 3 woofers. 2500 rms will take 4k daily. going to be getting 2 of these for now at .5 each strapped at 1 ohm. Then ill be getting 2 more for a 2100 on each sub. I love hifonics always have. Just gotta come into some money and ill order these bad boys up!

power from the gods

I bought this amp about 6 months ago and its does it duty. I was pleasantly surprised! 1st I put it on 2 Cerwin Vega VMax 15 dual 4 & they lasted maybe a good 5 days @ 1ohm. Next I placed it on 2 Fosgate P2 and in a custom slot ported box. They wang something terrible! I recently bought 2 Brz 2400 & 4 Cerwin Vegas Strokers for my Tahoe. I have yet to install them but from that point forward I'm a Hifonics guy..Great sound, Great Cost, Great Quality.

Hifonics Quality Bass

Excellent amp for any speakers. It has a lot of power and is an excellent buy for a cheap price. This amp hangs with the big boys. It also glows blue "Hifonics" lettering that puts the cherry on the cake.

Amazing!!

This is by far the best amp I've ever purchased. It rarely overheats. It's CEA compliant so it actually puts out 2000 watts RMS. I have it on 2 1ohm Pioneer TS-W3002D4 in a ProBox and it hits like a freight train.

this amp rocks...

Had the 1700.1 befor this one, n I decided to grab the 2100.1 n give my 1700.1 to my bro.
I'm runnin 2 12" MB Quarts at 1 ohm..and lets just say you feel n hear me comin. I still have stock battery n alt. but once I get my new battery, n lookin for another box, it will be 1000 times harder.
Definitely worth its price n then some.
only down fall, don't like that the possitive n ground are side by side. 2 gauge wire is a pain to work wit, but all n all its 5 stars

also as a side note to guy running l7's at full settins on everything, thats why your goin into protect mode. turn your bass boost down to half way.

Looks good to me!

I just bought this amp to power my two Sonic sound lab subs that are on order, the amp looks great and is very well designed, hadn't looked it up yet but I have a feeling it is going to make my truck shake apart when I get my subs in. I also got a Hifonics 6.5 component set with another Hifonics amp. Very clean! Very excited to get it all installed!

BANG

I got dis beast feeding 2 15's Q Power in my little Mitsubishi Mirage. It hits so hard my trunk dont even know what to do. I have trouble keeping my rear view mirror straight (or on) my lights dim a lil but need a Big 3 Upgrade (along wit upgrading to a Kinetik battery and maybe sum Dynamat). I've had it on one time for bout 3hrs at 75% vol and it only warmed up. Hasn't gotten burning hot nor has it turned off on me. GUARANTEE TO SET OF ALARMS IN PARKING LOTS. I jus only wished I would of waited a lil longer to get it (price wise). I would of gotten the BRZ2400.1D

amazing simply amazing

The fact of the matter is you will not find a better amp for the price. I have this amp hooked up to a hc 2000 and my 15in cvrs wired to 1 ohm I had to turn the levels down a bit cause it was putting out so much power. I would recommend any brutus to any one just an amazing product for the money.

Great Value, Great Power!!!

I bought this about 1 month ago and I have it hooked up to 1 12'' Ascendant Audio Havoc (1250wrms) wired at 2 ohms and this thing pounds. The amp is only about 3/4 of the way up, I have smelt the sub burning a little bit. The new BRZ series is by far the best hifonics has put out. Upgrade your electrical and these things are amazing TRUST ME!! (The heat sink fins are very SHARP so be carefull)

Decent amp, I have it running my Kicker L7s, have the amp turned up all the way, and barely gets hot, turns off and goes to protect mode sometimes, I'm thinking its just cuz of my stock electrical system, not too sure, but good amp.

bang for your buck

I just got this amp couple of days ago only took 3 days. Great shipping! I really like this amp the blue led lights up your trunk real nice there are a couple things that I don't really like the side heat fin things are very sharp I literally sliced 2 of my fingers when I went to put it on my box and I had it sitting on my hand so when I pulled my hand out it seriously cut 2 of my fingers and bleed lol. The other thing is it sounds like a big wave or something when I have it turned all the way down and when I'm changing the song it hits I never had a problem with any of my other amps. I have it hooked up to a new Rockford Fosgate T1 12 at 4 ohms hits real hard though

Very good amp, I was a bit hesitant about getting Hifonics. But, seeing that its CEA certified, I went for it.

Its power hungry so, you'll need some extra power for this beast
The blue light is very cool, and a big selling point for me

Very good quality. I would definitely recommend
