great buy

i have this hooked up to my kicker zx1000.1 amp that powers my 2 L5's. GREAT BUY

Hi Quality Wire....

I used this kit to install a Hifonics amp in my grand cherokee.
The quality of the wire is very good and flexible.
However the 4 gauge wire postive wire has a built in connector on the battery end that has a whole that is way too small for putting a side post bolt through... I had to grind it out to the correct size. That is my
only gripe. I would recommend this product anyway.

PA600 with 4 DXi650

I used this kit to put a Polk PA660 behind 4 DXi650s. The kit is beautiful! The fuse box is awesome. The 4G hot and ground wires are flexible and are very high quality. This kit contains some of the best speaker wire I have seen. I didn't need to use the speaker wire it in my 07' Civic, so wired my 3 year old's Cerwin Vega D5's with it in her room. The RCA's are nice looking and now my car set up is wired professionally from home! I chose the 4G over the 8G so I could split the wire to 2-8s in the trunk for 2 amps later.

After looking at a few kits I decided to go with this one. The price was a little higher than most but omg is this stuff great. its extremely flexible, provides a vast amount of power to your system, looks cool, and sounds great! lots of copper stuffed in these things. Highly recommend it

All you'll need for a 4-Channel Amplifier

I'm very happy I chose the Kicker Amp Install Kit with RCAs. High quality 4 gauge that not only does the job but looks real pretty under the hood. That Fuse holder with 100 amp AFS fuse is no slouch either.

Best amp kit I have ever owned!

The cables that came in the palate were of the best quality I have ever owner, the length of the cables were more than enough for any at home, normal installation. I have an 02 ram 1500 extended cab and was able to run a power an ground to my capacitor and had enough cable left over to use the cables from this package for the power and grounds on two more amps. I still have left over remote cables and the RCA and fuse block were amazing. I recommend this kit to anyone who wants to run great deal of power the right way.

I bought this kit to pair with my Kicker IX500.4 amp, and it works as should. I even had about 8ft of power cable left after my install. I would recommend this kit to anyone who is installing an amplifier in their vehicle.

Great package deal value.

I recieved this as part of a package deal. It is enough to cover the lid of my 98 Civic sedan trunk. This will clean up the sound of your lows by decreasing noise (rattles, distortion of sound, etc). This is the first step in noise reduction and everybody should start here.

I doubt it will create a noticable increase in sound from your speakers.

Great Price and Product

I found the price great for the product I got. Installation was very easy, product sticks very well (Remember to clean/prep the surface). I noticed a difference right away in my music as well as overall noise level while driving on the highway (Doors done - trunk is next). Not the thickest sound dampening out there but it def. helps :)

The battle against rattle

Got the sound dampening door kit with some speakers, the installer put it on the rear deck of my vehicle where my two rear speakers and factory sub are. The difference is night and day, expensive but quality, good to get with speakers or a sub.

great value!

I orders these speakers after i blew each of my last ones. I was short on cash so i figured I'd try them and they turned out better than i would of thought. They are not by far the best speakers i have ever owned but they are worth 2 times more than they cost. Creat bass if you have them installed correctly with dynamat. Very good highs.
Never used the blue light feature but it is awesome to have there if you would like to try it.

I bought two of these to replace the speakers in my 2003 s550. You cannot beat the sound for this price! Definitely holds up with my audio system!

Hifonics Zeus ZXi 6.5C susks!!!

These Components suck!!! I dont know who said the sound is good the quality is good and clear. Maybe those guys who has cheap honda civic. I put this component to my Volvo s40 2005 and if I would know that they are such bad I did not buy them. The quality is poor. And the rms power 100w is bull. I will never buy this component again. That's why it's so cheap. Dont buy it!

Better than a leading brand.

I replaced my Alpine type S component 6.5s with these, expecting not a whole lot, and I was blown away. Not only do they look awesome, but perform amazing. The quality in the audio was actually better IMO than my alpines.

I now recommend Hifonics speakers to just about everyone looking into new speakers that's low on $$$.

great sounding

Bought 2 sets. Have not used them long enough or pushed them to potential so can't do honest durability rating so only giving a 3 on that but very nice sounding fronts and rear speakers. Also didn't hook up lights too fast and furious for my tastes.

VERY GOOD COMPONANTS

I just bought these ,,and read most of the reviews before i did..But these are as good as it gets for the money ..I was suprised when I opend the box..It was packed .. Hardware and wiring" all speakers ,tweeters x-over were very very well made ,,"sound quality " highs will make your ears ring ..Mids are good not as good as highs but you hear every word ..Dont think twice get em' amplifier is a must though..

Great Bass, Awesome Highs

I purchased these speakers as a package deal with the Hifonics Zeus ZXi40.4 Amp and the combo is great, amp is not even giving the speakers full RMS as it is a little under-powered. Even without the full power they hit ear ringing highs and chest pounding bass. Also the center of the speaker lights up blue with the ZEUS Logo! I do reccomend having an amp to them though. With a stock headunit connected to the stock speaker wire you are only getting about 25 watts. I have an after market headunit and was only getting around 50 watts per channel. I used true AWG 16 speaker wire and althoug it is only 320 watts I still used true AWG 4 gauge OFC Power Wire and Ground Wire. Definitely worth the price!

Adequate

These speakers although not the best out there are very adequate for the price. I bought them for my work truck and I am very satisfied.

pretty good for thr price

I saw the reviews on this component set, which made me buy it. All I have to say is, if you're on a budget, I would look into these. They sound pretty damn good. If tweeters are on +3db they might be a little bright, but nothing an EQ can't tone down.

Only downfall is the crossovers. With 100-120rms at each side, the tweeters tend to sound muffled at high volume.

On a scale of 1-10, these get an 8!

They wail

I have 2 sets of these components running off a Crunch 4 channel 1500 watt amp at 4 ohms. They are clear, loud and take abuse. I am not easy on them and they stay right with the program. Great speaker and even better value. My only complaint is one of the mids LED light did not work. I am sure I could have returned them, but i did not use them anyways.
Sonic is the most professional company I have dealt with in audio and there prices are second to none.

Great Product

I used this on a RV to but in a video/audio system and I really liked the amp kit. Nice a heavy wire and the fuse was nice heavy plastic. You will never go wrong on kicker, so I would tell any one to buy this. I'm thinking of upgradeing my wire to this down the road.

NOT WORTH THE LOW PRICE

I bought these based on reviews here on Sonic. They replaced a set of Kicker KS600 Coaxials up front, which I like alot. I wanted more high frequency sound stage up front, as I don't have any sound deadening in my vehicle the highs didn't make it up from the door as clear and loud as I wanted, to be completely happy with my sound system. Powering everything is a Kicker ZX700.5 amp rated at 70 watts RMS per channel at 4 ohms (85 at 2 ohms).

The Kickers were cheap in cost, and I figured based on the reviews on Sonic, the Hifonics would have to be comparably good for the cost. I was wrong. The 60 watt RMS Kicker Coaxials sounded better in every way, played lower, louder, and clearer than the Hifonics components. The only thing that was slightly better was the Hifonics tweeter, but that was after having it set to -3 DBs on the crossover, and even then at high volumes it could be harsh. The midbass was terrible, couldn't hear it at all. At high volumes would distort unless I set the crossover at 100 hz or higher. Not worth the money unless you find used on ebay and are replacing stock speakers.

I then purchased a set of JBL P660C components, and they are sick. Lows, highs, mids, clarity, volume. Very happy now.

good bang for the buck

I installed these in the front door/dash of my '05 Scion xB. The drivers fit right in the door and the tweeters fit in the dash with a little metal bracket that I made. Each side is amped with 25 rms watts. All in all they are a very good bang for the buck. The highs are clear and the mids have a good "punch". I had never heard of Hifonics before seeing them here on Sonic Electronics, I'm glad I took a chance and bought them.

This cables were more then what I expected the Kicker cables are very flexible and easy to work with specialy if you put all cables under the carpet and seats overall very durable and flexible cables highly recommend

Crossfire 600.4

This is amp really kicks ass in every way. I have the gains down with about 2.5 volts going to it from my pioneer head unit and it's more than enough power for my door and dash speakers. the amp is very dynamic and musical. A great amp to run to front speakers and a pair of subs too! Crossfire is really a quality product and I've been in car audio since the days when phoenix gold m series and soudstream amps ruled the world!!

Kicker Wiring Delivers a Kick

I got this Kicker wiring kit to hook up my Pioneer deck, speakers, and amp. As a Kicker home entertainment speaker owner I had high expectations for the quality and performance of this kit and Kicker once again blew me away. I had more than enough supplies to wire up my Ford Ranger twice. I will be going back to Kicker to wire up a sub down the road.

Nice wiring kit

This kit came with everything that I needed to install my 4 channel amp. It cost a little more than I was looking to spend but was very well worth it. All of the components were very high quality. Even the speaker wire was very nice; something that is usually over looked. Definately worth the extra money to get instead of the lower priced off-brand kits.

Well Worth The Money

I've got these in an 02' Mustang in front doors powered by Hifonics 100.4 (2.5v, full range, bass boost @ 11:00, gain @ 65%, very clean at top end, bass doesn't get muddy or high's break up. The cross over is somewhat large, but can be mounted in the pocket behind the door pull, I used industrial velcro and it's not going anywhere. The tweeter gives you a three way option which is great!! Mount, test, then reintal panel. I have them at a "0" setting w/ them pointing upward towards ctr roof area, sound wraps around you. For fun I set them on low pass to see how they would work-killer lows, will go down to the lowest hz rating w/no problem, but won't work. They can be driven harder, I ran them for about 1.5 hrs w/ different types of music dialing them in and setting the deck. Use a wide band setting& you will get the warmth out of them.

I have 2 sets of these it my truck and they are power by a Hifonics Zeus 6400 and they sound great. The tweeters have multiple ways to wire them -3, 0, +3 db so you can tune to your liking. Also they light up blue and are easy to connect. Good mid bass.

I recently purchased a pair of these components and hooked them up to the two front channels to my powerbass 400.4 and I must say that I wasn't disappointed. Now granted I wasn't really after the bass as much as the mid bass so I filtered out all the bass and they never distorted nor have they given me any malfunctions. Well worth the money. Sonic Eletronix is the only way to go great prices and speedy delivery.

These are pretty good speakers, you really cant beat the price.. Like others have said, the crossover box is tremendously big, i managed to get mine in the door but im probably going to try and move it into the car somehow

better as they break in

have had all 4 doors with these for a week now, at first they sound "ok". I have a precision power 800.5 running them. These have gotten better after break-in time. Not producing super low notes, but that's what the sub is for. very good tweeters and decent cross-overs. a steal at this price. get them, don't hesitate.

well, I have a set of these in the front doors of my soul powered by a jensen 80w rms per channel amp with a JVC AHD59 h.u.
well to say i'm impressed is slightly an understatement prior to this my only experience has either been with custom built or infinity perfect series components. especially for the price these do compare quite well. they don't have the clarity of the infinity's, but they have substantially more low end punch. i say for the money, especially if you don't have subs these could be the speakers for you.
I have only had em in a week so i cannot comment on the durability of the product

these things get loud if u power them right. i have them hooked up to a 4 channel hifonics amp along with some 6x9's. the tweeters are very clear you can hear every word if you have a lot of bass in your trunk!!!!

Excellent Speakers

I have this set in my 01 ford focus zx3. It is the best component set for the money. I have it powered by a 400watt 4 channel amp and it just sounds great.

I replaced my factory Monsoon speakers in my '03 GTI with these, running off the factory stereo and amp. What a major improvement! The highs are crisp and clear and the lows are deeper and fuller. They sound good with all types of music, from acoustic to rap, and can handle high volume levels without any change in sound quality or distortion. I would recommend these to anyone with a VW Monsoon set up.

The only issue was that the basket of the speaker was just little too wide for the 1 inch spacers that were required for installation. A little drummeling was required, but that is expected with a custom set up (especially in a VW).

I have these hooked up to a MB Quart Onyx 4.80 they sounded great at first but for some reason the tweeter protection keeps on coming on and the tweets are cutting out...I don't understand they claim to handle 100 rms the amp puts out 80 rms @ 4 ohms and my voltage @ the amp never drops below 13.8

Excellent For The Price!

I recommend these for whoever wants to up their vocals and higher range sound. They get pretty loud and sound nice doing so. The mid/lower bass isn't as strong as maybe some other more expensive sets but if you have a subwoofer, it's no problem. Clear sound and handle the power pretty well. Packaging came with basically everything you'd need to install. The LED is a cool idea for those of you who like the blue lighting, matched my head unit at night. Dampen and seal your doors for optimum performance when installing door speakers please!

Great Product

Even though I bought these based on reviews I read. I was still skeptical about the Sound Quality (SQ) of them; I thought the tweeters were going to be harsh.
Being that today was the first time I actually heard them; I must say I am impressed (along with amp combination).
Better yet, SonicElectonix has the best prices on the internet.

Ive been using Hifonics amps for years now and have nuthing but good to say about them, so I decided to try there speakers. Man these Speakers are great, compared to my Polk Audios I replaced these blow them out of the water! I pair them with the Zeus ZXi80.4 and I'm almost def already. Highs are most important to me and these bring it, loud and clear. and another neat thing with these speakers is if you take your speaker leads and run them into the LED it only turns on when the music is loud and strobes with the bass, SWEET!!

These speakers are the bomb, and still have put on full power yet but they are worth every penny.

I've been installing car stereo equipment for 15 yrs now and these are some of the best componet speakers you will get for the money.I run a Hifonics Zeus ZXi 6.5c on ea front door with the hifonics 6x9s(so two 6.5,2 tweets,2 x-overs,an a 6x9)per door and similar for ea back door.I also run 2 Hifonics ZXi8408 880W 4-Channel Class A/B Amplifiers to make these bad boys scream. At this price for full components you will be very happy with your purchase!! Also the grills for the 6.5s look great compared to others!

needs quite a bit of amp.

So far i am running these off of the front 2 channels of a kenwood kac 8403 rated at 60w RMS. Now dont get me wrong these guys do get loud but when i bridged them..wow what a sound almost seemed like my subs were superfluous..almost. they dont have the clarity of my brother's infinity perfects, but they do seem to handle the bass and volume a little better. in my opinion they couldn't be a better value and sound better than sever more expensive sets I've tried.
p.s. this is in a soul so now the stereo actually lives up to the ads.

not as good as the hype

i just finished installing these in my 2010 jeep wrangler in the factory dash and tweeter locations. i would rate an OK for the price but not as good as the reviews on here. they are well constructed, but have not got the sound quality as expected. If its loud you are looking for, not a bad deal. i also have their subs and they are awesome.

Amazing lows

i recently purchased these for my "90 toyota extra cab that needed new speakers desperately, along with a pair of kenwood KFC-1682ie's. i got these because they had a fair sensitivity and they have a high peak power. mounted the tweeters above the drivers and passengers seats. these are clear, loud and have a high excursion, plus they arnt afraid to hit the low notes, they were fairly simple to install just a little modifications and some wiring and i was good to go

i have a set of these in a custom console in the middle of 92 fleetwood. and these do not disappoint. if you find a set under 100 dollars that sound way better let me know. and these are only 60 bucks.i got 120 rms to them and the highs scream, the mids are good. not to deep not to bassy just right. i have 3 strokers and these can keep up reallly good. i will get another set to replace my audiobahns in my door. there 6 1/2 coax on a amp. with 2 sets of these bad boys on my amp, yea. if you want loud loud loud than go with these. the cage is ugly thats why i gave it a 3. but it is heavy and well built so i uped it to 4. the tweeters are heavy.and the 0,-3,+3 came in handy on the crossover. i set mine to 0. perfect.

Suprised that I like them

I was use to hearing polk audio speakers but when I bought my new truck and needed some components I could not afford the polks anymore so i got the hifonics because of the price. I am suprised by them. I am very happy with the hifonics running on a kicker 200.2 amp and they sound great. Don't worry about picking this set up you will be happy with it.

Outstanding speaker

I've tested many speakers before of its class they all blew either in weeks or months besides for these speakers, and to top it off they sound the best and look the best, and they're the loudest especially when using a high pass filter at about 150 to 180 hz. I have a pair in each door, so if you're looking for an excellent sounding great looking very loud pair of speakers or just looking for ones to replace your stock speakers I would recommend these.

Great Speakers

These speakers were my very first aftermarket speakers for my first car, and when i sold my car, i sold these speakers with it, and let me tell you, i wish i never did.

These speakers are better than kickers top of the line coaxial speakers. They have good sound quality, and could handle anything i threw at them. The tweeters did excellent with acoustic sounds. I was playing a song with a acoustic guitar, and boy, i was blown away at the sound quality the tweeters were putting out. it was totally amazing.

I would recommend these speakers to ANYONE!

Great Component Set!!!!!!!!

I have to say i was not sure about getting these speakers, because HIFONICS are known for their amps. But let me tell you, these speakers are the real deal, and that's without an after market receiver. I am going to go all HIFONICS from now on, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG!!! REAL POWER!!!! WITH QUALITY SOUND!!!!!

Great budget components!

Purchased these for a custom install in my rear doors amplified off about 100 watts each. These guys get loud and sound decent. Only complaint I had was that the tweeters can be a little harsh, but the crossovers have adjustable tweeter output; I set it one step down or all the way down, I forget. Anyway, behind behind me it's not as big an issue. Crossovers are a little bulky but I had the perfect cubby hole to hide them in so it was a non-issue for me. People with smaller doors may have issues with them. Overall a great buy!

get the job done

I put these in a 99 Tacoma and my girl is happy with them. They get very loud just off a cheap jvc head unit. The sound quality is not so great they do distort kinda low. The value you cant beat it if you want to get loud for no reason. The speakers i use in my car are incriminator audio comps; other speakers i have heard by my comparison is: memphis, selenium, kicker, whip, beyma and jl.

Great product

I have had these in my 01 eclipse spyder for about six months now and I have to say for the money you won't find better components. Clean highs and mids with hardly any distortion. Have paid alot more for worse sound.

Their alright not bad

They are really good components for the price the sound quality is really good ive had these speaker over a year now and they still work but the only bad thing about my speakers is that one of them blew out so when i aint bumping my music i hear the blown speaker so i just crank my music up all the way up its only one speaker the rest of the sound really good i have 3 fully working properly and it is loud!

Disappointment

I had high hopes for these. I ran them for about a week and the tweeters kept cutting out at mid-high volumes. I do all my own installs and have been for years. I was talking to a friend that works at a shop and no one there had ever seen just tweeters cut out. Its a mystery. Only had about 40W RMS going to the from an Alpine 2 ch. Swapped over to Fosgate T1652s and haven't looked back. Highly recommend Hifonics amps (currently running Hfi series monoblock and 4 ch) but there speakers are a no go for me.

Get what you pay for.

These are OK stock replacements ONLY. These are by no means power speakers. They distort far earlier than the rated 100w RMS. Mid woofers have little bass. Crossovers are huge. All in all not impressed.

Not very good.

Installed in 011 Tacoma with Kenwood HU , Crunch 4ch amp 37.5w rms x4 or 75w rms bridged. No matter what I do these speakers sound awful. In fact my JVC 3way 6.5's blow these away and they are only 40w rms. I ran Hifonics unbridged and bridged and the end result wasn't much different. Very weak bass punch and quick to distort. Tweeters suck (or maybe it is the crossovers?) All in all wish I went with a more reputable name. At low to mid volume these speakers have very clear sound quality. Pass mid volume level these are junk. I would suggest people avoid these.

Decent economical speakers

Highs are clean and not overly bright, the mid/bass is good but not outstanding. Sound clarity is better to good. Not as clean as the polk DB series speakers but better than the stock separates in the vehicle.
Vehicle this was installed in was 2003 VW GTI as separates front and rear in stock location. Amplification : Precision Power 400 2ch amp bridged. Sub provided by Infinity Basslink. Head unit : Pioneer 700BT cd/iPod.
Overall good quality for the money, don't expect polk/jl audio quality but very comparable to pioneer/sony/jbl components.

Well worth it

Solid speakers, These speakers will fill out your mid-range very well, the tweeters are a plus. After installing these as a backup to my existing speaker set I noticed a marked increase in mid-range fidelity and strength. I have them on their own amp, a visionix 800 watt, only turned up about a 10th, never tried to really power them up, they'd blow you out of the vehicle. Use those bandpasses, let the subwoofer do its job, and these will do theirs.

Good price, great sound, only downside is the crossover is pretty big. Make sure you've got an area about 3x5 inches you can take it away at.

the sound is so good. i feel like i ripped off sonic for what i paid for them.

i cant comment on the lights as i didnt desire to hook them up.

great quality for price

i contemplated getting speakers that were coaxial and spending more than this set and im glad i stumbled on these. i know mb quart to be good so i gave these a chance since reviews on the mb quart rated the volume being low. these double the volume of my current tsa pioneer speakers and are much crisper in doing so. i think i got a great product for what its worth. the tweeters highlight this system but the woofers are pretty good but i think they could be a little stronger. but the woofers are not disappointing cuz it was still an upgrade. and blend well with the subs without gaps in the frequency or distortion

Hi quality construction, heavy magnet, and good sound. I have these hooked up to a Hi Fonics amp with 100 watts to each speaker. They are not audiophile quality speakers but they are loud and clear. If you want a great bang for your buck you can't go wrong with these.

Great Mids and Hi's

Good set of components, great balance of mids and highs between the woofer and the tweeter. Great bass and vocals. If u have great Subwoofers, u got to have great mids and vocals to go with it.

Great Speakers

The Speakers sound great. The tweeters are so loud I had to put them on -3 dB. The Woofers aren't as loud when powered around 30 Watts RMS but still very loud, but if put to an amplifier at 100 Watts RMS they're crazy. Plus they were extremely cheap. The lights on the woofers are also really cool.

I recently got these and let me tell you they are loud and sound great. I am running them with a punch 400-2. I am thinking of getting another pair for the back doors. They also look great and the blue light matches my head unit. I recommend Hifonics components, they are a great value and hi quality.

AMAZING

I love these speakers. I put two sets of them in my 2000 Nissan Xterra. I mounted the tweeters on the back columns of the car, and the highs that these can put out is just incredible. I have two 12's in the back with a 2000 watt amp hooked up to the subs, and the speakers never get over powered. I put the tweeters on the +3 decibels setting. you can't get a better set of speakers for the price.

Best comps for the money

I have these in all four of my doors powered RMS and man do they CRANK! Obviously these are not audiophile grade comps but they really put out great mids and highs for their price point. Its not necessarily a reference grade sound, but more of a "in your face" kind of sound. The cone is not paper it is a tough composite. The surrounds are a ridged rubber that is sure to last forever. The only thing is the LED that is in the cone is kind of hard to use since it requires 12v and a fuse but its no big deal. These are great for any factory upgrade and are very power hungry.

this system is wonderful together

Have owned this set of component speakers since 2008. Custom built one inch and a half clear pine wood cabinets with ports use in the house with Pyramid kx14 power supply and dual 8030 receiver. This system is wonderful together. We have left it on for days at a time all it did was break itself in. Plan on buying an 80 amp pyramid power supply and amplifier later.

Better Than Stock Speakers

Its been 2 months after I installed this speaker. I gotta say that these speakers are 10 times better than my stock speaker that was in my Scion TC. However, using my stock H/U, it didn't give much bass dynamics. So I decided to install new H/U: Pioneer AVH3300BT. NOW these speakers punches like a rock star. Since my car has 4 speakers, I installed Hifonics ZXi 63 coaxial speakers for my rear speakers. The sound is plenteous.

Great for the price

I installed these in my 1993 Honda Civic a while back. Installation was simple. The hardest part was cutting holes not to big or small so the tweeters would fit snug into the door. The first song I played out of these speakers was little wing by jimi hendrix. The highs I heard from the tweeters blew me away when compared to the Sony Xplods I had just replaced. Its good to have these speakers amplified since they will get little power from just the head unit because of the crossovers. The lows are decent just a tad better than the xplods. The mids are sharp without distorting. The only problem I have with this speaker is that the magnet is so big that it creates clearance problems that keep me from being able to roll the window all the way down. The window is now hitting the magnet on the way down. But besides that I'd say very good value and sound quality.

Hifonics Front Speakers

I read reviews before purchase n that really makes or breaks my thought process, n bought it for my Nissan Altima 2004, and it was a clear upgrade, I like them and the tweeter, good for high vocals n songs without much bass, I didn't get them for my back speakers, I preferred 'Kickers" for some bass, thanks Sonic..

I have only had for 2 weeks, so we'll see, u never know whats next.

take a beating

Had these for six months,have them powered by a Hifonics Jupiter 75x4,underrated just a tad? Have had some high dollar separates, for the money these are pretty decent speakers! I have punished them for the past six months and have not broken anything yet! Pretty shocked honestly I thought they would be a waste of money, turned out to be the little engine that could! They are x-overed at 80hz sound pretty good buy em! Sonic kicks a**, they make having fun with car audio affordable! THANK YOU!

What a Bargain...!

I must say that only SE can offer this kind of high quality for such a ridiculously low price. These component speakers sound as good or better than the Sony's and Infinity's I heard at Best Buy. The crossovers and well made, and the tweeters feel heavy and well made...and sound fantastic. I have dual 10" subwoofers, so the woofers in this system won't be seeing to much action, but I am sure they are up to the task. Great purchase from SE, as usual.

One great set of speakers!!!

I just recently switched from Alpine type-s components, because i wanted something that could take some more power, and these definitely can take their rated power of 100rms. I have a set in the front doors, and a set in some aftermarket kick panels. For the price, you get a great crossover! The tweeter performed beyond my expectations, being able to bring all the detail i was missing with my alpine type-s components, but still not being to bright at the same time. The crossover is great because it allows you to adjust the tweeter to your liking (unlike the type-s comps), allows the mid to play the notes its meant to play and be able to fade in with the tweeter very well. For the price these can't be beat. I would go as far to say that these will be able to keep up with speakers 3-4 times the price you'll pay for these hifonics on Sonic Electronix

LOW END is NICE

I bought these for my Custom 3-way towers, and decided not to use my large woofers, these have plenty of bass, and the light can be hooked to your sound output, and its beautiful. The tweeter will tweet like a bird, and they handle more like subwoofers, than mids, but of course also reach mid bass cleanly. Crossovers are extra nice and sturdy.
Lots of options witch is nice. 5 stars for mids n highs.

Great tweeters, underwhelming woofer

First of all, if you all looking for no holds barred in your face LOUD then this is THE set for you. These things take a beating and then some. The crossovers are built very well and the tweeters sound extremely crisp, clear, and accurate at all sounds levels.

The same cannot be said about the woofers, however. I tried to like them, I really did, but they cannot accurately reproduce sound frequencies from about 1kHz to 2.5kHz and the 200-1kHz range is a bit "quiet". It seems these woofers peak REALLY hard in the 1kHz to 2.5kHz range which essentially "grinds" my eardrums. I don't think Hifonics did much research matching what I consider to be a GREAT tweeter and crossover to a marginal quality woofer. I'll be looking to replace the woofer soon on this set.

I gave this set a 3 overall because the woofer, while only a single component of the set, brings the quality of the whole set down. The set is still a great value for someone looking to improve their stereo, or for someone that is looking for an inexpensive component speaker set that can handle monstrous amounts of power.

Hifonics ZXi 6.5C

For the price, these are the best sounding ad on to any factory system. I put these in a 03 Dodge Durango and got blown away by the sound and performance. I had always thought for factory the system that was in it sounded pretty decent, now it doubles that of the factory speakers. I was hearing highs that I didn't know exsisted in songs that I had heard before. Dont know how they would perform with an amp. but with a high perf. factory deck you can't beat them. Would by again.

WOW!!!

I got these to replace my factory speakers in my 07 f150 super crew. I went to a lot of different places and listened to a lot of different speakers then I bought These having never heard them any where i was a little worried. But I was very very pleased after i got them hooked up! I am NOT running a Amp at the moment!! Just The FACTORY Deck and its a world of difference BUY THESE CRYSTAL CLEAR and you can not go wrong for the money!!!

Great Sound

Great sounding speakers. Covers the high and low frequencies very well. They handle all the rated power and more. They sound much better than the pioneer 4 way coaxial's that I just switched these with.....

Best Avalible For The Price

I bought 3 sets of these 6 months ago and so I've had them for a while, they have passed the test of time and all 3 sets still function great, they are all being ran off head units so not any major power.

At this power the tweeters are quite good and don't distort until 35/50 on the head unit and the mid bass is nice too, but it does lack mid bass, as compared to some morel speakers I have in another car. I didn't bother hooking up the light up Hifonics logo in the center and I wish it was powered at the same time as the speakers. The crossover is good but very bulky. Overall they are good, far better than some boss phantoms a mate has.

These bargain components are worth every penny spent. Like others have said, don't expect a huge amount of bass without some type of an enclosure or at least an amp. I'm really impressed by the sound of these matched up with my planet audio 5 channel amp.

Hifonics Zeus 6.5 inch Component Speakers

These are a great set of speakers. I installed them in my Lancer Evolution and the sound is clear and clean. Would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for great sound at an affordable price. The install was simple, no different than any other speaker of the same size. I had tried two other brands before installing these. By Far The Best For The Money.

Good speakers

I bought my integra without speakers. I decided to go with these when I wanted speakers. I am running them off a 2 channel amp and let me tell you they sound really good! They are also cheap so you can't go wrong with these. The only problem I had was installing the cross overs. They are huge! Look really nice and the lighting is a nice addition.
