Running it on a HDC315 at 1ohm, never lacks power or overheats. My box however is not tuned low enough for some of the lows that the HDC can reach and the sub will beat on itself if it plays it too long and the amp will shut off until the car electrical is restarted. Great safety feature. Hella cheap amp for the power been using for a month no problems. Bass knob is high quality as well
