Very good value amp!
This is a great amp, small, good clean sound, I have one powering a TS-W3002D4 Pioneer Sub. Would I recommend it? Yes. You can get something better but not a that price, and that sounds that good!!!

Great Amp
This amp is amazing. I've heard both good and bad things about this amp and yeah, this amp puts out what it says, 1400 or more. It pushes the s*** out of my 2 kicker 12l5's. Amp stays cool even after 2 hours of just straight banging

very happy
I purchased this from Sonic and got it in my truck with 2 cerwin vega 12" vmax's and it was like christmas. My girl cant ride with the system up for the vibrations in the seat..... lol. all in all it powers my vega's very well but my truck sounds like its gonna fall apart.... guess dynamat here i come and deff make sure you got enough power to handle this thing cause it does pull some amps even at only 2 ohms.

Hifonics GLX FTW
I upgraded to this amp from the Hifonics HFI 1000.1D and the difference is night and day. I'm running it at 2-ohms for 1k on 2 12" Pioneer TS-W306's in a vented box tuned to 33Hz and it slams. This amp is extremely efficient even on a stock electrical system with a 80 amp alt it puts out the 1k with no dimming and the power it puts out is very clean nice crisp bass with no distortion. It says it accepts 2awg for power and ground I couldn't fit my 2awg without cutting away a nice amount of strands. Amp never gets hot, the chrome looks great and blue led is good looking. This amp is much heavier and better built than the HFI series and over all I would definitely recommend GLX series to anyone looking for real power and great efficiency and sound of course. I never had the Brutus series but it's said that this is as good but much more efficient. Hifonics FTW!

Bang For The Buck
This amp did exactly what i wanted it to do, make my VVX's happy. It looks sleek, powers well, and stays cool. The only negative thing i can say is that the fuse's feel a little loose and the remote bass knob feels a little loose.

HIFONICS Gladiator series
Im from Canada , vancouver island to be more specific , and i have recently gotten back into the car audio game after a long stint away and I was disgusted by what my local shops were charging for the major 5 i call them.(pioneer, kicker, clarion, hertz, sony)and quite frankly that is all we see out here,
so sick of my local choices I began my epic quest which led me to SONIC and a whole new world was opened up for me
Ordered after much hunting the Hifonics glx1400.1d, after a million comparisons and what was and wasnt cea compliant this one was a no brainer
Hifonics gladiator series ARE cea compliant and they are powered by MAXXSONICS which make hifonics,mb quart, autotek, and crunch
all very under rated as far as "name brands go"
sonics online shopping to canada DESTROYS all others online, we had a little hiccup on our order (my fault) and they had it fixed immediately couldnt ask for better service and fast shipping , I thought i'd have a couple weeks to finish up the truck , they had the thing here hella quick, and the no nonsence all in one billing that covers duties, shipping and all that mumbo jumbo made it seamless
so would I order the amp or another one like it for another project HELL YEAH this amp is putting the specified rms to my 10 inch mtx 9500, that sub / amp combo is bananas real talk.
would i order from sonic again? funny you should ask because im back on the site to place order #2 these guys are legit they just give you a good price and send you your toys , like it should be
i do however wish sonic sold a couple of other brands ie memphis, zapco, dc audio, american bass, and the biggest one of all SUNDOWN AUDIO because if you guys put those on here i would be in some trouble ..
BOTTOM LINE KILLER AMP , BEATS UP THE BLOCK, NEVER GETS HOT,
and Sonic is killer no complaints with the website, the staff , and the shipping , couldnt have gone smoother.
now send me some stickers sonic so i can get my fellow mislead canadians on board

YEEEEAHH!
Been running it for a few days now (1 ohm.) And let me tell ya... this amp is amazing... never gets hot... never has gone into protect. The power output is pretty good (I dont think its 1400 wrms, more like 1k) but anyhow well worth the price... good, clean, effecient power and it looks sexxxxy. Powering 2 Brutus BRZ12D4 (very good subs, I paid 2 for 120!) Subs are in a huge 5.5 Cf box to the manufactures specs. SINGLE CAB DESTRUCTION!!!!!

would not buy again
Bought this amp, thinking it would be more than enough for my rockford T1 12". RMS on the sub was 800 watts. The amp said it put out 1000watts @ 2ohm RMS, 1400watts @1ohm RMS. Ran the sub @ 2ohm, put a DMM on the amp while listening a 32hrtz tone, amp was barely putting out 700 watts. And that was pushing the as hard I could.

Nice amp more for looks read below
I recently decided to give my fiance my brutus brz1200.1 and run this in place for me. deffinantly has the extra 200 rms compared to the brutus I don't know what the other reviewer was doing or how he had his set up but I would believe this amp is putting out a minimum of 1500rms more likely more. sounds as good as my brutus did but nothing stands out sound wise so for me i would have rather got another brutus saved some cash. for me you are paying for the flashy looks and as a bonus 200 more rms which isnt much audibly so if youre looking at the brutus stick with brutus if you have money to blow and want a shiny clean looking amp to show off then get this.

A must buy!!!!!
I've been curious about the gladiator line from hifonics. I own the Brutus 1200.1D amp and its awsome. I wanted a little more push so
I bought this amp to try it and it was a great price. And oh man its freakn Awsome!!!!!! I can tell its a little more efficient than the Brutus line and Sound just as good maybe better! Im shocked I havent heard a crazy buzz about these yet.....I have it on 2 RE Audio SE-X SUBS AND sounds even louder and have more flex!!!! If u love the Brutus line you will For sure love the gladiator (glx) as well probably more.

This amp is GREAT
I have been using this amp for about 5 months and it has been great. It has never gotten hot and i have played it hard for long periods of time. Im very impressed with the quality of this amp for the small price. Also the blue Hifonics logo is pretty bright and looks awesome. It is a very nice looking amp and doesnt feel cheap to me. I have 3 15's hooked up to it at 1 ohm and it pounds the heck out of them. If i turn my head unit up to far it will drain my battery which makes me think its actually putting out about rated power. and thats with 4 gauge wire so if i was using 2 gauge like hifonics recommends im sure it would get a little more power. Great amp for a great price!

OMG
This is AMP is amazing to the fullest. If you are breaking out of using the run of the mill monoblock amps and 2 channel amps, this amp is for you. It is incredibly powerful, and can get the power you need to your subs. For the price there is no comparison, plus it holds all the features the more expensive amplifiers hold, which makes for a astonishing listening experience. Lows like no other and can have your system punching with the best of em'. i currently have it powering 2 ts-w3002 pioneer championship series subs at only 500w a piece and the sound get ridiculously loud with the volume up but the remote control all the way on min power from the amp. This is a must buy. Very Satisfied.

POWER
Hifonics aint lying when they say power from the gods. its liked they took lightning from the sky and stored it into this amp. it feeds my 2 12" kicker CVXs all the wattage they need to make the roof of my jeep cherokee flex. this is the first hifonics amp ive ever owned and i am so impressed with it that i will never buy any other brand of amp again. this thing is freakin amazing itll make your subs hit soooo hard that you'll def be heard before youre seen. i ran it all day today and it never got hot never cut out and never gave me anything but clear loud and sonic boom bass. anybody that writes a bad review for hifonics amps esp the gladiator line prob set their system up wrong cuz this amp makes serious noise. oh yeah and forgot to mention how sleek it looks esp at night when it glows blue.

Well Worth The Money
I purchased this about 3 weeks ago along with 2 Re Audio SEX12D4s. Im Running it at 1 ohm about 1200 rms. Pushes the subs which are 600 rms each with ease.. gain isn't even half up. I have a pioneer head unit. 4V pre outs. For all the people saying this doesn't put out 1400 rms at 1 ohm. it does..easily ....first off its CEA certified so it has to put out 1400 rms....and second it still puts it out as clean power. not that distorted crap you get with other brands. yea they may put out their "Rated Power" but its not clean. take an Oscilloscope to this. Its Clean even at 1400 RMS. I Did. I Took an O Scope to my friends Kicker Amp and it clips the signal at about 3/4 its rated power...
ALL IN ALL well worth the money....just as good as a 1400 watt rms amp for 4 times the price...Pay for the Product not the BRAND NAME.
Looks good too. Nice and Shiny. and the blue glow from the logo is an added touch....
Also 4 gauge wire is all that will fit in the power and ground terminals. im running 12 gauge speaker wire just fine...would probably fit 10 gauge but 12 is fine for pretty much anything.

Top of the line amp
This amp looks great in the trunk of my car.Powers my 12 inch type R with enough power so that I have to turn it down when I turn on my street to home.Cons: The controls are hard to see because they are in silver imprint on the chrome cover. Have to turn it side to side to see what is what.
On a whole I would definitely recommend it. Has not gone into protection mode since I have bought it and I do play it for hours on end.

Good amp
But not great, my kicker 1000 is just as good possibly a little louder. It does use a lot of power from my battery causing my lights to flicker. I. Would recommend only if on a budget.
