THIS IS CRAZY

The following review is for a previous version (XX-GOLIATH).

These amps provide what I would call, "LEGIT wattage." No fake sony watts, no miss calculated numbers. This amp will really put out 5,000 watts. Just make sure you have 4 red tops, 3 200 amp alts, new electrical system. ETC. I sure hope you have sum good to put too it ;-) NOT FOR BEGINNERS!

Not for rookies!

The following review is for a previous version (XX-GOLIATH).

I have been a Hifonics fan and consumer for many years before they bacame a big name. Always top quality and always big power. If you are a beginner - do not think you you are going to just drop an amp like this into a stock charging system - you will have nothing but problems. You must be sure to have enough power within your car to push the amp or you will end up with bad results and a car that oesnt start. I have 2 of these pushing 4 Hifonics Olympus olm-2412's and i actually ended up breaking my rear window before i had to turn it down. It will push whatever you want - and will handle alot of abuse. This is not a little Fosgate or Xplode - this is a big boy toy so take the right steps in installation or have it professionally installed and you will be extremely happy and never get rid of it.

Power from the Gods

This amplifier is an absolute beast. It went beyond my expectations. I am running four 12 inch RE Audio SCX 12's. They are wired down to 2 ohms. The amp is barely turned up and they are hitting the max no problem. The only thing turned up is the gain. With the power this amplifier contains, I figured it would be double the price. Hifonics does not mess around. Might change to 4 15's because I know it can handle it. There are no cons so far.
