Hifonics HF8SQ review

The tiny but powerful Hifonics HF8SQ's kicked my butt so bad, I got rid of my big 15" speaks. I built them into a pair of tiny 2" ported boxes and run them with a 500wt subwoofer. I've actually used these with my 3-piece power-pop band in small club, miking the guitar and the kick-drum and they simply kiked my butt. Great vocal sounds. No need for the monster speakers till I play the larger clubs... WOW!

the best

The hifonics Triton are amazing. I purchased 2 and IM going to order 2 more. It's true one of this tritons is louder than 4 6.5s. Hear them on YouTube.

It's loud!

This speaker is great. I've never owned a Hifonics speaker before. I was a little skeptical at first. I was surprised how loud and clear it was. I will definitely buy more Hifonics speakers again. Especially here at Sonic Electronix.

Hifonics did it again

I was amazed at the quality and the clarity that came from something so loud. I installed one in my buddies car, its just a bit loud.

Really load speakers

Really load full range speakers. Have not tried them in a car yet but used them in a party once in a homemade box and it was really load and a lot bass from it to.
You expect much less from them since the price is so low.

awesome

Use to own 4 alpine type r 6.5 full range speakers. One of these hifi tritons does the job of all 4. well worth the money after buying one zi had to go out and get another 3 to make up my set. You just cant get a better deal for this good of speakers.

2 years in no issues great buy

i recommend this if u like Sharp high end bass. over 100 hz. anything under and it does sound like crap. the driver is meant for vocal and mid bass and it does a fantastic job at delivering it. and u do get the magnet weight it shows. no plastic cover other then the magnet protector. takes all 300w i push to them. but u can tell when u push to much power to them
. pros.
takes it's wattage.
sounds great even far away.
cons
paper cone and water = bad idea.
the terminal connectors are not very sturdy
square mount makes box building easy but hard to sell since 10''drivers are not common. for midbass
