Good Bang for the buck But...

Got this amp as part of a package deal. The amp itself is great bang for the buck but unfortunately it is not powerful enough for the sub that came with my package. Its like its almost enough but not quite. I would recommend 6 or 4 gauge wire. The 8 gauge wire that came with the package deal I got is just not thick enough. This amp does draw some current but if your electrical system is up to par this amp can really deliver. Keep in mind that bridged it is 400 watt RMS but it is also 400 Watt Peak so if you have a higher peak sub i would say get a different amp. IMO This would be great for a 10" or 12" without high power requirements.

My amp

I bought this amp for my wife's car about six months ago and it hasn't let me down yet. It push all the power her 12" sub needs and sets the whole system off. I recommend this amp to anyone.

Great AMP!

Ignore my previous review, it was intended for the subs I recently purchased, not this amp I bought for a customer's car previously.

Amp was amazing, lots of power and perfectly matched up with the sub that came with the combo... hit VERY hard and never overheated. No complaints... been a long time Maxxsonics customer and will continue to be.

Very Satisfied

Ive never owned Hifonics before. I was restoring two projects at once, my 68 SS Camaro and a 72 C-10 Truck. After months of blogs, research and money going out faster than coming in, I looked away from the other Highly advertized brands and looked into the Hifonics brand who is made along with MB quarts, & Crunch for the power, warranty and price I couldn't be more excited with my decision. I've only had them installed a few months but man do they push and I haven't had any problems what so ever. Thanks Sonic Electronix for carring Hifonics products.

Great amp, Beasting my MTX TR55 to its full potential

I love this amp I paired it up with a single MTX TR55 12in single voice coil at 4 ohms and it pounds, all I did was bridge my channels to get the power I need.

Pros
- It never over heats
- Has cool lights
- Sounds good

Cons
- None

Good performing amp

I'm running two pairs of 6.5" speakers, a set of MB Quart components up front and a set of Cerwin Vega coaxial speakers in back of my 98 Honda Odyssey. Clarity and power are outstanding when using the integrated high pass filter. No issues what so ever and I tend to play it loud. No instability and the amp never runs even warm. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this wonderfully priced and performing amplifier again.

Hifonics HFI100.2

So i ordered this amp a while back but my car broke and i got rid of it and have yet to install it. It's a very light amp and has very small power supply inside and cheap looking circuitry, looks like it will get hot quick which takes away from SQ but i bet it will work ok i doubt it pushes the power it claims.

Messed UP!

I bought this and it turns out the amp won't put out anything to the right side of the audio! We tested it by switching the feed and only the left output works! The in and out lines are messed up too.

Great amp. Great price.

I have this powerful little thing running two 11KS693 kicker speakers. It has them hitting hard and loud. Clear powerful quality sound for an unbeatable price.

awesome

I run an Infinity 12 at 2 ohms pushing around 200 watts with 2 6x9 EFX on this amp. and it hits hard. a lot of noise for a little power and reasonable price. Perfect for the balanced 9 speaker system.

Awesome Product

I do not have this model. I have the one right before this one of the same amp, but this thing really is a good amp. I have it bridged at 4Ohms pushing one 15. I have the amp turned all the way up with the bass boost a quarter of the way up and this thing sounds really clear. I have had it hooked up for about 5 months now and am very impressed at this amp. It does get warm but has never shut off on me. Longest I have played it is about 2 hours straight with my radio as loud as it goes without sending a lot of distortion and the amp did not shut off....

Hifonics HFi100.2 (HFi 100.2)

I got this amp about a week ago, and I absolutely love it. I have a 12" kenwood KFC-W3012 bridged: 400 watts rms @ 4 ohms and it sounds amazing. I can turn my stereo all the way up and you get nothing but crisp clear bass. Also, the logo when it is illuminated blue looks really cool at night. Overall, its a really good amp for the price!!
Pros: It has a lot of features, like the ability to switch from mono to stereo, from high and low filters or both, etc. Would highly recommend to anybody! Cons: hard to mount because of the design

Bang for buck

I bought this to power my Rockford fosgate t1652 and it powers them perfect. Never had any problems with it and does the power it says. Hifonics sells products that do what they say unlike other companies. Their product are affordable and are perfect for budget builds!
