I have 4 of these babies in the saddlebags of my harley roadglide and let me tell you they are loud and clear.I have a fosgate p200.2 hooked up to them, the mid and highs are very pronounced and the bass output is where it should be and not overbearing. I highly recommend

good for money
if you aren't plugging them up into an amp these speakers are the perfect solution to a quick fix of crappy 13 year old decaying factory speakers. don't know much about plugging them up into an amp but i wired them directly up to the speaker wires and they still sound pretty good.
