Simply amazing

I love these subs. I have two of these and they not only hit hard and sound clean but they destroy other subs such as the so loved Kicker L7's. If you don't get an amazing dB read from these then either rebuild your box or take it to someone because they will hit extremely hard. Just 2 of these in my 06 Mustang GT powered by 2 Hifonics Brutus BX-2200's with an extra battery and a 270amp alt and these things beat my friends 4 JL w3v3-4 subwoofers and were just as clean sounding. The only thing that sucks about these subs is that they require 2.5ft^3 of airspace in a ported box.

Get wit it or get lost

I did alot of shopping around before I purchased this sub and it was will worth the wait. If you go to orions website the have all the top rated subs versus the hcca. And hands down this thing is a monster. For the price the look it is sick. I got 1 in a tahoe with a hifonic BXI 1600 running at 2 ohm and i call my system aids/hiv cause its killing anybody with 1 sub and even 2. I went to a shop that sells JL and the guy was like man that thing slams real hard 1 in a ported box with a 5 fared cap I drove around for 4 hours on a trip beating this sub it never cut off. Maxxsonics is the shiznit 4real. JL,Kicker,MTx,its all in a name Hifonics are cheaper and slam hard im not even pushing it full power. and im setting off alarms like crazy.....

this is legit

this sub is absolute power just had one installed in a ported box in my 2008 honda accord 4 door got a 1200 wat sony amp and and absolute amp kit and a 3.5 farad capacitor. everything was purchased from this site except for the amp i had it. box-sub-amp kit-capacitor all purchased and installed yesterday. set off 5 car alarms on the same street with bass level at -4 and svc on low and volume 22. this is a definate headtruner and very underpriced. my friend bought 2 subs and box at $1300 and my this 1 12 in that 34.00 ported box whooped hit butt. he was pissed he is now ordering 2 of these to run and selling his old ones. I WOULD RECOMMED THIS TO ANYONE WHO HAS A LITTLE BIT TO SPEND.

AWESOME

I bought this sub a couple months ago and i was back and forth with the decision of the orion HCCA and this sub, but since i was going with the transformers look in my truck i decided to go with hifonics since i have a history with maxxsonics products and these subs havent let me down yet.
i have these 2 subs hooked up to a lanzar opti 2000D @ .5 ohms. now i know you guys are thinking what the hell but yea i switched my wires out once because the melted through and upgraded to some stronger wires and now i cant wait to upgrade to 4 power acoustic 5500D amps and add 2 more olympus subs and hopefully i wont shatter my windows. LOL

SPL 100.05db is under rated listing

I bought a pair of Hifonics OLM2412's.

Each has Quad (4) X 2ohm voice coils rated at 2400w RMS, and 100.05db S/N ratio.

I installed them into my Dodge Grand Caravan into a 4ft X 4ft X 18inch ported custom fiberglass box. Installed my 5500w Hifonics amp and a 20 farad Cap. My lights do not dim ever. The rest of my system is the stock premium sound system CD/Cass/AM-FM unit and 6 speakers.

OMG!!!

I have an SPL testing unit that blacked out at 152db. It will not read high enough to accurately measure what these subs can do when powered properly.

I have them wired to 2ohm each then bridged onto the amp as 1ohm load.

You can not talk in my van, you can barely breath, and you need head gear to protect your ear drums. @ 6 foot away from outside the van we get a reading of 132db SPL.

I will not run the system with the windows up for fear of replacing all the glass on the van.

I think the Hifonics has grossly under rated these at 100.05db SPL. I think they are much much higher, and I only have 2 of them.

I am very pleased with my $2200.00 investment.
