crazy amp

this amp is insane.. how many 2 ch. amps do you see pushing over 1000 watts a channel? this amp is perfect for 2 insanely loud subs like a kicker L7 or a mtx 9500 or an RE XXX.. i would suggest getting this amp for anyone who isnt looking to blow 2 grand on an amp(s) to power their subwoofers.

FYI

I don’t quite have this exact model… I have the older Generation XI COLOSSUS !!! & it’s quite powerful… I can’t even explore the amp’s full potential (because my subs can’t handle it… & my charging system won’t be able to keep up). I had it hooked up for about 2 hours, & it played loud, clean and powerful… I had it hooked up in stereo @ only 4 ohms each channel… & it was more powerful than my 1200 watt Class D JBL BP 1200.1 I had it on before I got this… if you want to not only be the king of your town… & want to humiliate other’s… then this if for you.

Con's... a bit large My XI is @ 33.4 in long

FLEXX!

I have a 1995 GMC Suburban and for my system I have a Boss flip out screen head unit, 2 15" L7s, wired to 1 ohm (2000w RMS each) and this God of an amp! It's pushing the full 3200 wired in a bridge series at 2 ohms and my whole truck flexes! I'm not getting its full potential cause I'm using my old systems wiring (6 gauge) lol but soon as I put a 0 gauge on it, with my new custom ported box (being built) it'll definitely slam! I love this amp and highly recommend it!

street beast

Hifonics has always put out the true power rating plus some. The new Colossus is no exception! A beast of an amp at 3200 watts in 2ohm load. Probably a little more depending on your power supply. 2 guage power & ground hookup so you get plenty of juice. Be warned get subs that at least handle 2000 watts or more. So if you want to bump get at least a 400 watt amp, but if you want to pound the sound, the colossus is the s*@$!
