Decent sounding

Good sounding speakers, using a soundstorm ev.200 amp to push them ( great amp). The low profile design is nice, allowed me to mounted them in my custom kick panel. One thing I did find was cold solder on the wires to the tweeter, with me being a electrician I could tell but for the money, I'm not complaining. I've owned some hifoinics subs in the past and they were nice, so I knew I was getting a good quality item.

If you need speakers to upgrade your factory system then these are great speakers. They fit perfect in my work truck, have a clear and crisp sound, and for the price they made a great upgrade without going over the top with equipment and cost. By far, not the best on the market but well worth a look to see if they might suit your needs.

Great factory replacement

These speakers look really good, have better bass than I expected, and are very thin. They should fit almost any door panel easily. They come with screws, clips, and long wires. The wires are very thin though, so I wouldn't use them to run all the way from the head unit. For the price, there's nothing I can complain about. Consider the thicker 3-way version though; for about $8 more they are probably worth it if you have the space. I've only had mine about a week so I can't say much about durability, but they seems pretty solid.

Nice sounding for mid-range

It's a nice sounding,cheap 6.5" speaker,what else is there more to say? Hifonics are/is a very good company. Love their amps and these mids are the first ever owned. Impressed at the bass and treble on them so far. Getting a soundstream ar14.1800 and will see what they really sound like in a couple days. So far so good,no complaints

Paired these up with a set of Hifonics 6x9s to upgrade my factory set-up, and I’ve been more than happy with the results so far. There is a night and day difference from the original speakers and I haven’t even added an amplifier to the speakers yet. I highly reccommend Hifonics products!

I used to laugh at this brand. Not anymore!

not any more. I purchased 5 different pairs of 6X9's and these had the bast sound range of all. Ended up keeping these installed. Using the factory radio and will go to max volume without distortion!
