Look for something else

A buddy installed one in a custom ported enclosure. It was built close to factory specs, except we used a slot vent rather than a port tube. Fed it 400 rms from a Cadence TXA1000D and it was terrible. We put it in a different box on a different amp with the same result. I'd describe the sound as sloppy and weak. It only sounded decent in a sealed box on 200 or so rms. Look at Diamond, Kicker, CV... They all offer a much better product for the same price. I rated the durability because you have to in order to leave a review.
