Very good value for a very nice amp

I have this amp running CDT components in the front and CDT coax's in the rear. It's running at 4 ohm x 4 and at half gain, the components are screaming and clear. It does take a little bit of time to get the mids squared away with the "twitchy" HPF, but if you spend a little time with it and a good quality input signal, you'll be rewarded with a nice clean clear sound output. It runs for hours with no problems, does get a little warm, but no major issues.
The look of it is nice, but it is a big amp and the bright blue light on the top of it can be annoying at night if you have to mount it in the cab of a truck or a hatchback. Overall, this is a great amp for the money and will run with many 4 channel amps twice its price. It provides clear, loud signals and seems to be very durable so far.

Pretty good for the money

I originally had this Amp hooked up to Some IDXS65's in the front and Crossed to IDQ10V3D2 Sub. It has enough power to get all the speakers to sing loud enough although I suspect this Amp is highly susceptible to power output drop when the voltage drops. I do find the sound from the Amp to be a little on the cold side though. I've now replace my front stage speakers and I currently have the Amp running a 3 way Semi active and again the sound is a little cold..... Power is a little lacking for the dedicated midbasses too but my new speakers, Crescendo Opus 8.9B are all 8 ohms. I''ll be getting a Steg or Mosconi Amp soon as a replacement because of the extra grunt and Sq. I'd recommend this Amp to anyone who wants a bit of extra power for the money and doesn't mind moderate SQ

I love hifonics amps!!!!!!!!1

I just install this amp in my nissan sentra to a 6 1/2 alpine type R component system and to 6x9 also alpine type R, it looks great and it sounds really clear and loud, I would really recommend any hifonics amp because I used to own a 1200 watts hifonics amp for my 15" alpine type R sub this amp burn my sub a lot of smoke started coming out of the box.................hifonics amps are the best.............

For the money a good 4 channel amp

I bought this amp here on this site. I have had it for about 9 months. Only once did it cut off, just turned off power and 5 seconds was fine. I will say that this puppy gets pretty hot. I spoke with Hifonics HQ, and they said that this was normal. The sound is really good and very clean. I am running two Polk Momo 6.5 in door and 2 kicker' 5x7 behind seat in my truck. Like I said it gets hot which concerns me down the road since heat can shorten the life on the electronic components. But all and all, I would recommend this amp to someone on a budget. You will not be disappointed. I would like the controls on the top of amp for easier access. There are a lot of adjustments and the manual that comes with the amp shows a bunch of configuration options which is good for the laymen like myself.
