Usable

The wiring has done me right so far but the only thing I don't like is the speaker wires. You have to carefully split it so the wire doesn't show. Other than that minor thing everything was great and a great value!

the price is right for this setup. the ground wire and the power wire are to big for my amp but i made them fit. better to have to much than not enough so if i upgrade to a larger amp it will be fine.

I run 2 12inch audiobahn exursions on this amp and it pushes them very well. The size is perfect not to big and fits right unerneath the seat or small space. The best part is it stays pretty cool even after running most the day.

I like the wire kit I got with my amp it seems to be holding up goo it handles the power of the amp I got but I would of gave it 5 stars all the way around but I wold of like the ground at less 2 more feet for good use but over all its a nice kit

Power Acoustik 30 Farad Cap

I would say well worth the money, I ordered one of these a couple of months ago and it has helped allot. Its great for comps were you burp your subs, holds that little bit of extra power and it pushes it out fast peaking the overall watts and boosting spl by just enough to win. Its also great for helping out with dimming head lights when your bumpin down the road at night. Only negative thing I can say about it is that is not a true 30 farad but by looking at the price you can tell that. Again, a good value buy.

i bought this power acoustic for my two jl audio w6 i have it connected to a yellow optima battery and is fine for a couple of hours at like 7 volume and it helps that when is about to discharged it the suwoofers stops sounding so i have enought time to turn my car on and recharge it again

Awesome piece of equipment--great value

I had a tsunami 1.2 farad capacitor in my car for about a year, running both a 2400 watt and a 1000 watt amplifier. I could never turn the volume up past 1/4 of the way without the deck shorting out and turning back on. I recently purchased this 30 farad cap to handle all that power a little better, and the difference is amazing! I can turn the volume up to the point where it's ridiculous and then some without shutting down the system. I would recommend this to anyone who has a powerful system that wants stability of voltage and sound, not to mention the awesome blue LED's that light up.

the 30 farad power acoustik rocks my socks. doesnt hurt that i have a nice amp and subs. lights dont seem to di nearly as much as with just a standard battery

sorry to choke on peoples ideas about capacitors and to sonic electronix you guys have great products and great prices and i am sorry to realize that you sell this product, i bought this with the anticipation of a much better electrical system. well first of all when hooking it up (instructions were easy very nice, everything included, the case is cool), the positive input terminal was loose and could not hold a charge while my 2 15's were pounding because it would further rattle the positive input terminal making a loose connection which resulted in it shutting off. second of all, from the day i got it when i would turn it upside down i could hear parts falling inside of it which made me think about whether or not it is in fact a good product. because of the loose connection, i ended up taking out the capacitor, and to my surprise, my electrical got better? i was getting higher voltage readings without the capacitor.. overall, i think that capacitors in general aren't really worth the money because getting main sources of power (ie batteries and alternators) is a much better choice than getting added "fake" power.. but if you are to go with a capacitor (which i never will again), get something of a good name, I hear rockfords capacitors live up to the expectations also tsunami and stinger..

Ok. not the best kit.

The eyelet connectors are flimsy and the speaker wire is hard to separate. When it does it exposes some of the copper. Otherwise the kit is ok.

Great Product

I recently bought this cap and it works great. i have 2 12" re audio sxx d2 and a 3000.1 re audio amp. before my lights would dim and nearly shut my car off it would seem. Since adding this cap my lights hardly dim and my system sounds amazing. Not to mention the chrome and blue leds looks great in my trunk

Good product , but not enough speaker wire to wire two front door speakers in a scion xb. I guess it would have been enough if I had run one of them with the power wire instead of running on the other side of car, but everybody knows that's a bad idea due to engine noise. You would think they would take that into consideration. Also not a big fan of the square and round speaker wire very hard to separate and strip without exposing bare wire.

I didn't Like the fact that the case is all plastic but other than that this a high quality Hybrid Capacitor for the price. The lights are a nice soft blue and not overly bright.

Battery gauge was dropping big time with my hifonics brutus 2000 watt mono amp,hooked this up and is now not dropping below 12 volt.using 4 gauge kicker power wire and ground, works like it should and looks great with the blue lights

You get what you pay for....

Bought this kit for my 650 watt rms amp. Not true awg 4 guage, but close.jacket is pretty thick.all wires flexible. Reached under the back seat of my 2008 silverado crew cab. But not a whole lot of slack if your going to a trunk. Fuse is ok... ive seen better and worse. Bottom line, if your on a budget and running 800 rms or under, this will work fine.

Wow is this bright.

I have a blue theme in my car, Alpine amp for highs with blue light, HiFonics amp with blue HF logo, and this, and mannnnn with this right in the middle it lights my entire car. I have it located on the back of my seats with them folded down and have no need to add any other lights to the interior. It performs as it should, very pleased.

Worth the money

I purchased 2 of these capacitors to run with my Hifonics XXV-Sampson Amplifier and they did a much better job than i imagined. They are no match to multiple batteries but they do have nice features. The LED Voltage readout is clear and easy to read and features a built in alarm when voltage drops to low. Only negative thing i have to say is that the casing is made out of plastic.

After reading reviews and most importantly watching the video Sonic posted with this product, I decided to give it a shot for my Cerwin Vega VPAS-12. The wires are exactly as described, true 4 gauge, not all insulation like the other brands. The fuse block is solid and easy to set up. I was worried it may not fit the VPAS connectors since they mention 8 gauge, but it works and it is holding in no problem.

The only thing I did change was the actual battery and ground terminals, they seemed weak, so i chose something stronger and all is well.

working around a weak alternaror

I now own 2 of these caps. Along with a yellow top gel cell battery up front my lights hardly dim nowadays. Let alone the battery light come on. I would suggest this cap for its ease of installation and performance. Can't go wrong paying less than a bill for it.

Does nothing for my truck

I had 2 Rockford 1 farad caps and they handles 3 times the power this one does save your money get a better name brand. You get what you pay for. I charge this thing and with in 2 mins of my radio being ong it's at 12 v. Total junk.

Everything I Needed

Used this kit to run an amp to the trunk of a 2015 Kia Optima. Ended up trimming about 1½ft of excess to help clean up the install. Everything seems to be good quality. Ran the power wire down the driver's side and RCA & amp signal wire down the passenger side to avoid any interference. Plenty of length of everything for a full size sedan.

4 year review

So here it is 2019 I bought this 1/30/15, I still use this cap the only issues i have with it are sometimes when you kick the system on the digital read out and the voltage alarm goes into a loop the alarm stays on solid until I restart the system. The terminals have held up I have 1/0 ga. When the display isnt in loop it still works well, the led lights inside it one side has gone out but has no effect on operation.
