nice

This is my first amp and its hooked up to a jvc kd radio and 1 Kenwood kfc, the RMS on 4 ohms matches up to the Kenwood perfect at 400 rms, so I know it won't overheat, the LEDs on the sides and on the "O" on Hitron light up in blue... although I wish it was red or a swampy green green to match interior lights or red to match the color of my car other wise im likin it everything works and its overall a good amp! recommended

Excellent value

I'm a bassist and I've been carting around my bass cabinet in my trunk, so I figured: I've got the sub, may as well hook it up to my car stereo (it's an Eminence Kappa 15c speaker in a Hartke cabinet). Hookup was easy, everything was straightforward, amp does everything it should. Long story short: it's cheap and makes my car into a rolling earthquake generator. What's not to love?

Sonic Electronix shipped out quick too. Good vendor.

Oh and this is my first car amp experience.

Looks good... nothing special

I've had this amp for about 6 months and i like the way it lights up, but i've hooked my sub up to a better amp and it was a whole new experience... this amp just gets the job done. It doesn't quite blow you away.

Great for the money

I've had this amp since December 2008 and it's been great this far. I have it paired up with the Power Acoustik FUBAR-10 in a bandpass single 10" box.

Make sure you have this amp paired up with a speaker that fits the proper specs (ohms ad RMS rating).

Best bang for the buck - guaranteed.

Hitron 1000W Amp

I would recommend this amplifier to someone looking for decent power on budget. Definitely good quality, lots of extra features you would find on a popular-name-brand product for not the popular-name-brand price. 600 watts over 2-ohms is what i needed to power my DVC subwoofer, so i got 2 of these and hid these under the subwoofer box compartment. Bought one of the little circulation fans that Sonic Electonix had to offer so they wouldn't overheat. My friends are still to this day curious what I'm using and where i got the money from to buy such good sound (they don't know what my power source is or how much i spent) overall it is a 4 star amplifier. Names don't mean nothing to me, as long as it has power behind it.

Excellent

Hitron amps are very good for the price and the power..
car audio shops try to sell for at least $50 more than sonic does when it comes to these amps
this amp could be built a little better (my 2000 watt hitron heats up a lot and can't add fan due to how it was made) but never fails!

if your looking for good quality with cheap price go with hitron amps they work great!

Mostly good

I bought this amp around December of 2010 to power my 1400w pioneer amp. and it was awesome for about 3 or 4 months. Now i notice it doesn't hit as hard as it used to. It is still powerful but just not as much umph.

Good Amp

Bought this amp to match a kenwood KFC-w3012 sub and a pioneer headunit. Amp runs nicely, blue lights are a nice touch, but i could not find a website for this amp, and when i called the service number to get some gain help, there was no answer.

Overall good amp, but poor customer service on hitrons part.

Sonix was amazing as always!

It's Straight.

The amp is worth the money. The only downfall of it, is that if it is not grounded correctly, it overheats quickly at high volume. When it is not overheating it hits HARD. I had a Lanzar 12" subwoofer hooked up to it, and my car shook. Other than that, the amplifier is EASY CHEEZY to hook up anywhere. The "Bass Knob" doesn't work that well. Pretty much an "on/off" switch. I like the amp and it's still running fine after 6 months! :)

Good Cheap Amp

If you good thump with a efficient sub for a great price, this is your amp. Works great with a Pioneer 12" sub. If you want to break the sound barrier, look else where. Overloaded with an Eclipse 12" dvc sub. Remember, you get what you pay for. Do not compare it to a $500 amp.

Cheaper Than Used Amps!!

I have one wired to a used Kicker 07CVR122 at 4 ohms in a 1.5 cu ft enclosure with 40 amp circuit breaker ($9.99) and it beats my car so hard at half gain.

The subsonic filter actually helps and the bass knob has little indentions so you can't accidentally crank it all the way up.

I plan on buying alot more of these little amps to come.

It does get hairline scratches easily so that's annoying but the rest is great. Also there's a power indicator light on your remote that lights up part of your car. That's actually a cool touch.

The wire inputs and controls on opposite sides is a bit of a hassle but well worth the money saved and performance of the amp.

Good for the price

Not a bad amp i have it powering a Power Acoustik Fubar 10" and powers it well. Also looks very nice at night lights up well. I dont think it puts out the true RMS power but is close also it does get warm if pushed hard for a while but over all not bad for the price i would say try it out its working well for me
