soild terminal

Does what its supposed to. Screw pin terminals. You use female spade connectors on the back or crimp it on the bolt with a butt connector 8 ga.

best you can get for your money!

So i install systems professionally. i have for 10 years. these terminals are just as good as any terminal your gunna get. you can pay 15 bucks a pop for "High End" terminals that are no better then this. they are as good or better then any sub terminal out there. and they last forever! people say they may not be good for running 10 gauge wire.. well there is never any need to run 10 gauge wire to your subs unless your subs are 10,000 watts each. aand they might say there cheap. well terminals arent meant to be screwed on really tight. cause thats how everyone breaks them. so if you want good quality for a cheap price. this is it!

Works Great thick plastic

Plastic is thick and durable, metal fins on the inside are a little flimsy though.

They worked

First terminal cup I have ever used, so dont know how these compare to what else is out there. I did think the strip on the back where the wires attached was a little thin and whimpy, but that really didnt matter. I soldered my wires to it and it works fine. Just be careful when you install it that they dont touch and cause a short. Probably overkill, but I put heat shrink over one side just to make sure they did not short.

meh

Its not a bad terminal. The price is right but I feel it lacks a bit in quality. It has a max gauge on the front side that is tough to work with on the inside of the box. The brass prongs are too thin and flimsy for what I feel is a solid connection.

By Evan on October 17, 2012

Not for big gauge wire

Do not buy if your running anything more then standard 18ga speaker wire. I run 10 gauge wire for my sub and had a hell of a time trying to work it into the connectors. Then they come loose and have to tighten from inside the box at least once a month. Would be a good product if your using it for small subs that dont have a whole lot of compression behind them.

Works great

Not the most "well-made" clips(they look and feel a little cheap), but overall, it does it's job, and it does it quite well. Very impressive for $3. I would definitely use this product again in the future; worked awesome for the fiberglass box I built.

House Brand Terminals

I ordered these for my square MEGA probox to replace the broken ones that came with the MEGA, unfortunately the ones that came with the MEGA were a bit wider and taller so the holes didn't match quite exactly but that's not a problem that caulking or silicone can't fix. Overall the terminals are quite sturdy and solid screw terminals.

good stuff

I orded these with other stuff and I was very satisfied at the quality of the terminals. After making boxes and wrapping them I didnt want to have cheap terminals to hook to. These work great with banana plugs from this site as well.

By chris on April 3, 2012

Pretty good product

First had some bananna clips on the box from the factory I loved those but they stuck out from the box and one got busted so I decided these would be ok so I ordered them and let me tell you what. For the price I wouldn't get anything else from anywhere they are still installed and I think have way better connections cause from the moment I installed these the sub immediately sounded louder and clearer. To sum all this up buy these and replace whatever connectors you have.

Square Subwoofer / Speaker Terminal Cup TCS

Attention - applied metal soft enough. For this reason it is very easy to strip a thread and you cannot qualitatively tighten a nut.

Sturdy enough, great for the money.

I used this terminal to complete a home built sub box. I currently have it hooked up to a 500 watt Rockford Fosgate sub with an amp pushing 400 watts. The terminal feels like descent quality, of course there was some lash in the screws but then again it was $5. I highly recommend this, the quality is decent and the price is fabulous.

professional finish look

These make Building your own box a snap. It gives your finished proyect a nice clean look instead of having 2 wires silicone coeated sticking out of one end of the box. I'm not giving it 5 stars because one of my terminals shorted due to being loose. I ordered another one but it wasn't the same style like the one in the picture.

A reasonably priced alternative.

When I purchased my subwoofers and amp from **********d, I had not yet discovered sonicelectronix.com. For a simmilar product, competitors want $10, each. I needed two. For two thirds of the price of just one terminal cup, I bought two from sonic electronix, which are gold plated for a better connection and turned out to be very high quality. I really wish I had discovered this site earlier for it's quality merchandise at very good prices.

I bought three of these and I like them. They aren't as nice as the ones that come with Q-logic boxes but for the price I think they are pretty good. It just kinda feels cheap but it looks nice and works so that's all that matters I guess. I probably will buy more for future boxes.

Does the job

I had a sub box for a 15" Alpine R with small terminals that wouldn't take banana plugs. I got this to replace it. Different size hole for the base so I swapped terminals on the base. Two inch hole. Changed out easy now have quality terminals that take larger wire or plugs. Thanks Sonic

It was okay.

It seems like a nice product. Relatively cheaply made so we can buy it cheap. Hopefully no one runs into the problem I have had with it where my positive terminal didn't come with the screw down so I can't even use it. Sadly that's what you get for the price though. It will do the trick if you're fortunate enough to get it with yours though. I'm not even gonna worry about sending it back and just go to Home Depot and get the terminals there.
