Bought this item for daughters dorm room at college, This little unit puts out some serious sound. She loves it.

I purchased the Tailgator for my brother to take up to college. He claims he is the most poplar boy in his dorm :-) Before I gave it to him I had to test it out for myself. It has great sound and quality. The I-pod dock and microphone are wonderful features. I would recommend it for parties, tailgating or just for fun in the comfort of your own home.

I think this is one of the best investments you could make in music & Entertainment. Use outside for parties and ball games.

Great little radio

Last October, my wife and I visited a friend of ours in LA whom we play a lot of volleyball with. We went to the beach to play and he brought his Tailgater along. I was sold from that moment. For Xmas, my wife bought us one. It's great to have around for all sorts of things and the sound quality is pretty good even at high volumes. It's great to have around the house too for misc yard projects when you want some music. And I LOVE the charging option!

I just pickd up the ion tailgater at co**co. Wow what a great sound! The battery seams to last for ever. I highly recommend this product.
