250 Watt sub not 400 Watt
The id V.3 is marked as 250W but the id V.4 says 400w and both are 250w rms subs that can be powered with a 400 watt rms amp. A big "400W RMS" right next to the V.4 is misleading. Especially since every other image dynamics sub seem to have the actual rms of the sub, not what rms power you could give to the woofer. Can someone explain to me what i'm missing?
Once i saw 250w rms on the box i didn't even open it so i cannot speak to the sound of the V.4 at all.

Image Dynamics ID12 D4 V.4
Image Dynamics products provide you with quality sound for not a lot of cash. You can pay more but, you will be wasting your money. I personally wanted the IDQ 12” but, that will be my next go around. I have two of these wired to 1ohm in my 2017 Tundra and they rock. Really liked the 10s in the ported box but, upgraded to the 12s. They are loud and clean just think I would like them more in a sealed box. Overall it’s a great entry level Subwoofer and I wish I discovered ID a long time ago. They handle the power and then some.

Quality ID10 V.4 D4
Image Dynamics offers uncompromising quality and performance. Been doing car/home audio for years and this product performs, delivers, sounds great, and offers install flexibility. They handle more than there RMS all day! I have two photos in a 2017 Toyota Tundra Crewmax in a ported enclosure and I'll say I'm very pleased. I want to try the 12" version too. Only point I took off was the logo which is no biggie but, I'm still proud I went with them!
