excellent components
My previous install used polk audio components which are rated in the top five under the usual suspects...Hertz and Focal, which are in a league of their own and some alpine stuff. But these ID 65 CS are far superior in sound quality than the polk audios and handle the 100 watts RMS much more robustly. They take the power and have the silk soft domes that smooth out the highs. Excellent midbass and even low frequencys around 80 hertz are no problem. My doors are baffled sealed and sound deadened. These speakers are in the upper mid range of speaker performance just approaching the higher end Focal and Hertz. I definitely recommend them over any $200 and below components.

Very good for the price
I installed them with a tma amp running about 100 watts to them and they sound great. Warm sounding not to bright how I like it very natural sounding.
