i would recommend this product for a 2006 and up civic when installing an aftermarket deck. no problems, same reception on radio.

Metra 70-1722

Metra does a wonderful job matching the fitment of vehicles. I highly recommend this over cutting/splicing into the stock wiring as this gives you the ability to convert back to stock without having to doctor up the wires say you spliced.

Great product

I used this product to add an amp to my 2011 CR-V without cutting any wire. I bough a Metra 71-1722 and 70-1722 and soldered the cables together, adding one wire from the 12V access. to control the amp.
Everything is clean, removable and was affordable.

Harness Makes Install Go Easier

This harness mates up with the wiring bundle on the back of an aftermarket car audio unit. I bought the wiring adapter for a JVC DVD/Nav unit installation in a 2011 Honda Civic. Once you match up and solder the wires together, the aftermarket unit harness connector snaps right in to the mating factory connector on the Civic. It worked like a charm.

Use Honda factory antenna on any radio

Easy way to connect your Honda factory antenna to a new aftermarket radio. There is a similar adapter that goes the other way (aftermarket antenna to Honda radio) so be sure to get the one you need.

If you're putting a new radio into you Honda using the factory antenna, this is a must-have adapter.

The main reason I bought this unit was for the Bluetooth capability, it works great using the phone or streaming music. The dvd player works good if is not sunny. There isn't any activity on screen while playing music, you have 3 choices for wallpaper; you only can display what mode your in, can't leave it on home screen. It is a good unit for the price. I would save another 100 $ and buy a nicer one but this is a value

Very nice head unit

It has everything I want and has the power to push my door speakers as well. Even though I have up graded those as well. But I didn't fit into my dash like it said it would so I had it modified and Im cool with that because its only a hundred bucks. But I'm also having issues with the DVD setting. I've only been able to play part of a movie so far. But thats fine also again it's only a hundred bucks ???? I just have to keep reading and enjoying it til I have all the settings down. Im happy with it and satisfied

Antenna Adapter Works like a Charm

This adapter makes installation of an aftermarket car audio receiver go much easier and cleaner. I had a professional installer put it in, and there were no issues. My car is a 2011 Honda Civic and the receiver is a JVC DVD/Nav unit. The radio sounds great.
