Very dynamic, clear speakers
I have 4 of these in my 05 Mazda 3 hatch. (although I only use the front two) I am using a Rockford Fosgate P1000X5 set to 4 channel to power them. After properly setting my gains, I went back lowered my crossover point to around 60hz. These speakers go loud without clipping and distorting. The bass is enough to where I only have to turn my sub up slightly to hit the really deep notes. I've heard that Infinity Kappas have weak midbass and overpowered high's. While the latter may be partially true, I can testify without a doubt that these have fantastic midbass when tuned properly and some deadening on the doors. Now, speaker of the latter... the highs are quite "bright". You certainly will not have to use the +3 db button located on the tweeters. I had to turn the highs way down on my AudioControl EQS to get rid of the ear piercing highs these speakers produce. (very loud *tsst tsst tsst* and over pronounced "s" sound in vocals) This is my only negative comment about these speakers. Well worth the money. Power them right and give them a snug enclosure type setting in your doors and they will sing for you. Very happy customer.

the quality you would expect from infinity
these 6 by 8 sounds exceptionally clear and crisp. A very high quality speaker. my only concern is that they do not come with speaker grills.needed them in my application I was able to acquire online generic one but I would absolutely buy these again even considering this fact. Thank you to Sonic for excellent shipping and a good price as always.

Infinity Kappa 682.11cf
These speaker's makes my Grand Marquis sound like I have a top dollar system in it.. I have them powered by a rockford fosgate amplifier the recommended wattage & they handle well no distortion the mids, highs & low's sound great, waaaaay better than factory. I would definitely recommend these to anyone, they are worth every penny.

excellent speaker
i usually buy separate component speakers for good stereo separation but got sick of fixing bad wiring after years of use. so i purchased these Infinitys. they are so crisp and mids are great you will need a subwoofer thou because there more of a mid to high range speaker. the high end is ear persing I will be buying another set for the rear speakers.

Great sound for the price
I bought these for my 2002 Mercury Cougar and now have four infinity speakers in it (Infinity Reference in the front). These kappas replaced the Rockford Fosgates that were in the car when I bought it. They blow the Fosgates out of the water in almost every way. The kappas feel much more durable and well made, look more attractive and most importantly sound much better. I can actually feel the music from the back. I have them wired to my amp (and of course have the tweeter button on) and it makes them sound amazing giving them the power they need. Unfortunately one of the 4 channels on my amp doesn't work so one of them is sitting silent until I get a new amp. But even with only one rear speaker working, my music still sounds 1000x better and louder. I listen to a very wide range of music from the heaviest metal to the bassiest rap and they respond very well to anything. Personally I love the way they sound playing rock/metal, but they also have a great bass response for the rap I listen to. I don't think there's anything you can throw at them that they couldn't handle. I bought these for a much lower open box price, but having heard them now, I would absolutely pay full price for them.

Great Overall Speaker!
Using in a 2006 Ford Focus SE . Fit the OEM location Perfectly . I've yet to hook these up to an amplifier - planning on the NVX JAD800.4 - but the sound GREAT with the power from my SONY XAV602BT . The speakers provide great overall performance. Its frequency range is very clear and are a HUGE upgrade from OEM.

Great Sound!
Had some old beat speakers in my Super Duty and they desperately needed to be replaced. So I turned to Sonic after looking at some reviews, and purchased two sets as I have own some other Infinity speakers in the past. I am not a stereo installer but these are so easy to install anyone with basic hand tools and a little know-how. They sound great, and I couldn't be happier!

Perfect Fit/Sound for my explorer.
These speakers are a perfect fit for my 1997 Ford Explorer Sport in the front and rear housings. Being able to rotate the tweeters so that they are pointing the the proper direction was a bonus.

Satisfied
Much improved over OEM; Im running stock stereo and no amp.
They seem to sound better when playing a CD over radio.
Hopefully an amp will help them recognize full potential.

As good as it gets!
Replaced the stock "premium" speakers in 2008 Mazdaspeed3. The stock paper speakes are total POS and there should be a class action suit against these car companies for crap products which are intentionally listed as "premium"! The sound is night and day. I installed both front doors for now in about 2 hours with the adapter harness. It was soo easy! I left the tweeters. Since the rear speakers arent' too important, I will install less expensive speakers like Polk, Alpind, or JBL. The KAPPAS sound much more clear and powerful even with stock HU. The volume limit is 34, but at just 20, it's plenty loud! I usually play at 14-16. It does sound a little bright, but you can always tune it to your liking. So far, I am blown away by the difference.

Amazing, crisp, clear speakers!!
I already knew the Infinity line of speakers were top notch, but after I installed them in my truck, it just reminded me of just how good they really are. Even with the volume blasted, they remain clear with no distortion which is exactly what I was looking for.

I've replaced my oem speakers with these on my 09 mercury mariner with factory head unit and I would say that it was a great improvement over oem speakers. I like the sound of the factorty head unith with these speakers, I did not have to spend more money on amplifiers or equalizers.
