1st Gen Tacoma awsome
These speakers are still breaking in and sound amazing. Day and night difference in my Tacoma. Powered off a after market pioneer deck at 50w each. It takes a bit of messing around with the button on the front of the tweeters to decide which way sounds better. Tested with everything from Limp biscuit Faith to Westside
connection. Even a few country songs. Now if I was to do it again in a first gen tacoma I would have went with the 5.25s in the front to save yourself from jigsawing out the inside of the door to squeeze them in. For some reason the 6x8s in the rear are putting out huge bass with the eq tuned perfectly. I can say from a old audiophile that used to run massive systems. I was overwhelmingly surprised at what these put out. Once they break in all
the way I will be wiring for amp to power them. Kappas for the win.
