Perfect

The Name almost says it all. The sub is amazing when looking for boxes for it everyone i talked to told me to get a 1" thick box, now i know why. As well as Hitting HARD this might be the most acoustically accurate sub on the market. I have mine in a 1.3ft. box and it sounds great!

nice sub great sq but not powerfull enough

this is a really nice sub especally for the price,, but it doesnt handle that much power 400 watts rms isnt alot to me,, they have really good warentys also, make sure you do everything right in the install, like box size , give it the correct wattage, ,, if you want a insane amount of bass i would go with 3 of theese not 2 ,, when theese subs are working correctly they are nice ,, tinsel lead issues and burnt voice coils forced me to go to the kicker cvx's much more reliabe sub handles 350 watts more rms power then then theese and cost about 20 dollars cheaper,

Kappa is near 'perfect' for sound quality

I say quality, not quantity. It handles 400 RMS which is less than most of the subs I've ran, but I was aiming for quality and the best performance at all frequencies, and with two 12dvq's, I wasn't dissappointed. I'm running them at 1 ohm off a Rockford P1000-1bd in a 1.0 cubic foot sealed with the 'high' pole piece. More lows than I expected. Not as 'loud' as my Rockford Punch HX-2s, but the quality is far better, as it hits equally well at punchy and low end frequencies. Paired with Infinity Kappas on the interior, it's a great setup.

A Perfect sub...

I was going to branch out and get into some other brands for my subwoofer but then I did some research on the newest kappa perfect sub and my interest piqued. Infinity, under their father company Harmon, has always done a great job with their speaker systems, and a near perfect job with their perfects. The great thing about this sub is it's versatility. Read about it on infinity's website. I was not disappointed with it's performance. Powered by a Hifonics Brutus 1200 watt mono amp in a sealed 1.4 ft3 enclosure (with subsonic filter at 15 hz) it gets LOW. The dude who reviewed it and said it didn't have low frequency response either doesn't have the correct pole piece inserted or his box is too small. Either way, go with around 1.0 ft3, 30% fill, and the high Q pole piece to get the best compromise between low bass and quick accurate bass.
