Great Value - Hits Hard

I paired this with the Infinity Reference 1300a 300-Watt Amplifier and let me tell you this thing hits hard. Don't let the price fool you, now it's not going to win any bass competitions but if you are looking for a quality sub in a quality enclosure to add some boom to your system, don't look any further you have found what you are looking for!

great for the price

I have 2 of these in a custom slot port box. And let me just say WOW. These subs for the price pound. I like insanely loud music and on some songs i have to turn it down. They are much louder than my friends kicker comps. So if your looking a cheap but great performing sub. Buy these.

Very nice, clean base.

I put this sub in a $2500 set up with Focal Krx2's and everything sounds great. The base is tight, and clean. It even hangs well with the hip hop tunes, and rattles the car pretty good. The girlfriend likes how it looks too. Highly recommend if you are looking for quality base at a good price.

94dB sensitivity=amazing efficiency!

I purchased the Infinity 1220se to efficiently use the 300W coming from my new Rockford Fosgate PBR300X1. I had been using an old 12" Sony Xplod I had purchased in the mid 2000's. The Infinity is rated at 94 dB of sensitivity compared to the Sony's 87 dB so I hoped I there would be an audible increase in sound output. Knowing that the dB scale is logarithmic every 3 dB increase in sensitivity is the same as doubling the power of the amplifier so going from 87dB to 94 dB should make my amp sound like a 1200W amplifier. I took this with a grain of salt knowing that manufacturers measure specifications a little differently and use tricks to "puff up" their numbers.

I received my Infinity 1220se and couldn't believe the size of the shipping box and immediately thought, "This is ridiculously huge and is going right back to Amazon!" I struggled to remove the 50# behemoth from its sturdy shipping box and quickly squeezed it in the modestly sized trunk of my 2014 Volvo S60 to hook it up. What I heard next was ASTOUNDING!! The Sony struggled to fill my car with bass while the Infinity easily filled my ENTIRE GARAGE with deep, rich, soul stirring bass. The garage door rattled and my dog ran for cover. My friends and I still can't believe that all this bass is created from only 300W. A friend hooked it up to his subwoofer amplifier with the same improvement in sound output and quality. To top it off, despite being ported, it still has tight, accurate bass. Needless to say I'm keeping my new subwoofer!

Window shaking bass

I bought this sub for my trunk to go with my infinity amp.Im running 2 ohms into it which with the amp i bought brings the power to 300 watts to the sub.Very very bassy"""Shakes the heck out of the windows and my rear view mirror.I think anyone who buys it will be very happy.I am

Mustang Coupe 2014

Very nice sounding, hard hitting that surprised me! Great looking enclosure that I was proud to give my son for Christmas. He sold his last system with 3 Infinity 12" subs and was sick without some bass. Quality addition for the factory SHaker system. Sounds like a car with 2 10" or even 2 12" subs. Definitely would buy again!

Put the power to it

I've ran this sub for about a month now. First on a alpine 250 watt amp, I thought it sounded good but not WOW loud. I recently put it on a Pioneer GM-D9601 I bought from here. It's CEA-2006 rated for 800 watts rms @ 2 ohms. Put some CLEAN power to it and it will rattle your brains. You know it's working right when your eyes start to lose focus.

Great sub, great value

I have had the sub in my suv for about a month now. It is running on a class d Kenwood 600 watt amp and is amazing. I listen to a wide range of music and it performs well in every type. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get an easy "bag" for your buck.

Sealed is the way to go

Previously had 2 1262W's in a sealed box however they were stolen. Purchased 2 of 1220SE's...boxes are huge and filled up the entire trunk. Noticed that there is definitely a difference when the speakers are sealed. Bass is noticeably tighter. Plan on taking the speakers out of their ported enclosure and into a custom sealed box asap. Happy that Infinity still offered the 1262W's even in this format.
