all of infinitys subs and speakers are very well made. the kappa perfects are well worth the money. I just bought 2 of these and have them in my room without an amp and are still pretty good. i hooked them up to my bros car with an amp and they pounded very nicely. highly recommend infinity

well i want to express my opinion about infinity products. i bought an 1242 6 months ago and i blew it out. the dual voice coil will only last you so long. i was only using a crunch audio amp own it and it over power the dog gon thing. i was only pushing 700 watt through it system and it started burning and smoking. what i can say about this sub is that it is the pefect sub for beginners and the sound of it will shake your brain if hooked properly. just don't add a amp with more than 600W or you will fill the pain i did.

good sub
I had this sub in my car now and i had it under powered with a 250w amp bridged and it still pounds this sub is a great value and i recommend it to and bigginer
