THESE SPEAKERS ARE CLEAR, I HAVE THEM IN MY SKYLINE R32 WITH NO AMP, CONNECTED DIRECTLY FROM THE FACTORY SPEAKER OUTPUT WIRE. I HAVE A SINGLE DECK PIONEER HEAD UNIT, NOTHING SPECIAL.THEY SOUND REALLY GOOD WITH A 8" SUB. FOR THE PRICE ITS REALLY GOOD. I HAVE INFINITY Infinity 60.11cs COMPONENT SPEAKERS IN THE BACK. GOOD BALANCE.

Sound amazing but be careful how much juice you supply! My installation guy said no problem but I melted down one mid bass in the front and now no warranty yes longer than a year but no other problems. I had to buy another complete set to fix my problem. Good luuck
