Great speaker to round out factory sound - quality issue?
My 2017 Toyota Highlander (non-JBL) shipped with some of the cheapest dash speakers imaginable. The JBL Club 3020s brought the vocal up on top of the dash exactly where it should be. The cheapest bang for your buck out there. I would give it 5 stars if not for the buzz.
I like my music a little on the loud side, and within a two weeks of install, the right speaker has developed a buzz. I removed it today to make sure it wasn't something else rattling, and sure enough, it's the speaker. Haven't had a chance to contact Sonic or JBL about it, but really, I expected better quality than this.
Installation (in the Highlander) was easy with the TacoTunes wiring harness. Simply plug and play with that little attachment.
