I use JBL Pro audio for my DJ business and it's always great stuff. Traditionally, JBL car audio hasn't been great, but Harmon has really turned the brand around for car audio. These speakers sound fantastic, a significant upgrade from factory. They are efficient and sound awesome even with a small amp.

Just as good as my JL's!
I bought some JL C2's for up front. No large distortion and love the low impedence for bass through stereo only. Honestly no amp is needed to make these sound great. I would definitely go with these quality wise over the JBL GX series.
